i nearly got 150 pages from grinding and im now starting to wish i could make the stupid book instead of relying on countless hours grinding kats, it should be at least craftable so people have a chance to experience the boss fight instead of wasting countless hours searching. in my opinion.

EDIT> so yesterday was the end to my kat rush and yeilded no results in finding a book. i made this thread to talk about making the boss fight more open to players. because the way it is set up to make people waste alot of time looking for the book. heck alot of people are defending the way it is like how people got angry over ce being removed. it might not sit well with alot of endgame players but it would make the game more enjoyable.

The amount of pages

The amount of pages needed to craft a book would be the real question. If the drop rate is 1% you would theoretically need to kill 100 kats for one, so you could say 300 pages should craft 1 book; 3 pages per kat kill. Chances are the book would cost something more like 500 to be reasonable though, so it would take multiple events to craft or one serious grindfest to get one

thats probably true but im highly disappointed in the devs with this because why would you hold a event to fight a awesome boss if the only people who could get the book to do so are those who are really lucky or rich as hell. its like reserved for the 1%.

my buzz is over

started searching for the book on friday with well stocked food and ambition and now its the end of the week and i only got enough pages to make a new hat. so i guess that the event kinda just wasted time for me, and im tired and i dont think ill get to do the mission so im just blowing off steam in this thread.

Fighting Margrel is like an accomplishment.
Completing Shadow Lair FSC is not a feat most players could say they've done, and it's made quite exclusive as well, with a total cost of 7200 energy, and successful clearances in each of the previous lairs.

The book of dark rituals provides content for endgame players. It gives those people who are always farming FSC something to do for a change, and also delivers a sort of prestige in bearing the Black kat Cowl.

The basis of this game is centered on the difficulty of making your way to the top. The mission to get from 1* to 5* is quite difficult and time consuming (it was for me, during the 10 mist per elevator era). Arguably, the Black Kat Cowl is one of the more difficult to obtain (and easily most expensive 'clean' helm), and albeit being exclusive, (I haven't gotten one yet), I'm sure the satisfaction of finally getting one will be far more rewarding than if it was a common drop.

Oh my....

This reminds me the event is almost over and I haven't found a book. I think I'll cry the rest of my SK days if I don't get one. BUt really crafting the book would be nice.
Also, if you looking to do the boss fight try asking your friends that are Kat hunting to take you if they find the book. I've done it twice already, no book but I'll take the 6 pages any day.

The only reason you want the book, is because it is rare, if it was common then you wouldn't want it anymore, so making it common will make new players lose interest in getting one, caring one around is like a trophy, do you have any trophies? If you did, would you like it if someone went around on the street and started handing them around for free? I didn't think so.

You have to join a party prior to finding a Black Kat. You cannot join once someone finds it otherwise you will not gain any rewards.

I have 460 tokens, not counting the 2 mats I bought with them. And not a single book. So yeah, I'd be perfectly fine with being able to craft them with 500 pages.
