Game crashes after start on any action

Hi forum!
I'm trying to run SpiralKnights on my laptop.
Info:
ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5470 with latest drivers from ATI installed.
Ubuntu 11.04 Unity (clean install. No optimization or tweaks. Default installation) updated with the latest updates available.
Java 1.6_24 from Oracle (downloaded right from their site, not from repo)

Problem:
After installation I can open the main screen of the game and... that is all! If I try to Login or open Option menu, game screen freezes and than can only be closed with kill -9.

Also I've tried to run the game on free drivers. Same result.

I'm not pretty sure, but I think the problem somehow related with OpenGL support in ATI driver.
Has someone faced this issue? Is there any possibility that I can run the game on my Linux?

The last three driver

The last three driver releases from ATI/AMD have had some sub-optimal OpenGL performance. I'd give the Catalyst 11.2 a shot and see what happens.

Recently changed my distro to

Recently changed my distro to Arch linux x86_64.
Don't know why, but it works fine now =)

Im having the same problem. i

Im having the same problem.
i have been for a while, could play it on my laptop but not pc.
im running vista.

meet the requirements.
im using Ati catalyst. i dont know alot about drivers and such.
but this is what my catalyst control center says.
Catalyst control center version 2007.0322.2238.38535
please help.
