Hear me out here:
Some people, such as me, have gone through at least a hundred black kats to no avail. No book. No BK cowl. The event passes, and I have to wait 6 months to have another crack at getting the Black Cat Cowl. Now, I am suggesting the book be available for a really expensive price.
A Black Kat drops (usually) three ancient page tokens. It takes about 200 APT to make a Kat Cowl- 150 for the kat tribe fetish mat, and 50 for the three star hood (Plus some mats, crystals, and orbs). So in order to get all of the kat gear (using 600 page tokens), you will need to farm around 200 black kats.
What I am suggesting: Have the book of dark rituals be available for 700 APT.
My reasons why:
People who are extremely unlucky in the farming of BK's can have a set goal in mind to reach black cat. To get 700 apt, you will have gone through about 233 black kats, and only very unlucky people have not found the book yet. This 700 APT is an extremely high price, and the said people will be able to get it. When you farm for 233 BKs, you've invested manymanyMANY hours into SK, and I think anyone who does that should deserve a book.
This suggestion could use a little tweaking, but all of you get my point.

No, it should still be a rare drop. I never pay attention to percents, its just luck that matters the most. One of my friends got 2 books (Lucky [Redacted] already and he already got one of the 5* Kat cowls and only spends around 2 hours finding Kats each day. While I can spend 5-6 and only get 2-4 Kats :/
