I only do one roll per weapon I own. This is because I see Unique Variants as an opportunity to make my weapons unique, rather than making them as powerful as possible. It can lead to interesting combinations, turning weapons I wouldn't otherwise have thought of bringing to a situation anyways simply because of the UV. These are the ones that don't suck:
CTR high DBB.
CTR low Shocking Salt Bomb.
Fiend low Deadly Splinter Bomb.
Undead low Deadly Crystal Bomb.
Fiend very high Voltaic Tempest.
Undead medium Electron Vortex.
Gremlin medium Irontech Destroyer.
CTR low Shivermist Buster.
ASI medium Barbarous Thorn Blade. (Given away. Toothpicks are boring.)
CTR medium Biohazard.
CTR medium Iron Slug.
Undead medium Callahan.
Fiend low Plague Needle.
Normal medium Black Kat Cowl.
Curse high Mercurial Demo Helmet.
Normal high Mercurial Demo Suit.
Fire low Volcanic Demo Helm.
Normal high Deadly Virulisk.
Elemental medium Chaos Cloak.
Shadow medium Crown of the Fallen.
Poison low Dreadk Skelly Mask.
Freeze low Snarbolax Cap. (My only piece of wolver gear, back before kitty hats and I wanted a shadow helmet.)
Fire low Armour of the Fallen.
All of those were either gained through normal crafting (just crafting an item once and then upgrading it) or on the first punch roll.

Was bored, so decided to roll
Was bored, so decided to roll some UVs on 4 Flourishes.
First one got me ASI high.
2nd ASI Med.
3rd Ctr low.
4th ASI Very High.
I think this was the system making up for not
dropping any books, after 90+ kats were hunted.
So following my amazing luck, decided to roll on my sealed sword.
Star ted with slime low. Got slime med after 5 rolls
. Figured I would keep going, ended up with slime low
Slime low - > Slime low.
200k for the same UV.

Shadow high Skolver coat 3rd try
Poison max vog cap 1st try
2* hail driver craft ASI low, it is now a hail driver
2nd roll ASI low umbra driver
1st roll ASI med combuster

GF craft CTR high
WRH 8 or 10 rolls to get ASI med
AP 2 UV craft, construct low and gremlin high (wish I could switch those around)
Plasma capacitator fiend VH craft

You can see that the majority of my rolls are good except that elusive WRH, and all of my UV crafts are bad. I pretty much have all the UVs I want :)

I rarely go to punch and get Uvs...
first time I went to get a Uv from punch on my dragon scale and got a low stun.
15 seconds later, I went to craft a skelly mask, then into scary skelly and got a stun low, fire medium, and piercing high.
I never went to punch again unless I had uv tickets from boxes/The SK system itself.....

Punch luvs me.
He has given me way more than he has taken.
He has easily saved me over 75kce.
I don't have a problem with Punch's UVs. But I do have a problem with what he said to my wife. Not cool, man.
