So, somewhat new to the forums, and I've gotta ask, how do you do those things where you link to an exact comment made by someone in a thread?

In the thread, click on the comment's post number. (For example, this post of mine is post #1, and the "#1" appears at the upper-right corner of the post.) When you do this, your browser's URL bar changes, to show the URL for that specific comment.

Once you know the URL for the specific comment, you can link to it as you would link to any URL. The syntax is

<a href="link-URL">link-text</a>

where link-text is the text to appear (for the reader to click on), and link-URL is the URL (that the reader is sent to).
