I need to heat 4 star sttuff and i am a defender elite. The game gve me recipes for every fire crystal besides the 4 star ones which i need. Is this a glitch or some stuppid mistake? Cause if you give it to the champions who don't need it nearly as much that is just plain stupid and not helpful. Please tell me if this is a glitch or not.

You do realize that these recipes require the higher level crystals, right?
What good does a recipe do you if you have no 5* crystals to craft into 4*?

I used this method: Run through 7-2 in cold blood. ignore the enemies. Find treasure boxes, get shining fire crystals, go to haven, repeat.

It is not a glitch that you did not receive the 4* heat crystal recipe. On the contrary, it was intentional.
If you would like to receive the higher recipes, continue working through your missions and it will eventually come to you as a reward.
In the meantime, if you really really need the crystals, you can find them in prize boxes at around Depth 18 (Stratum 5) in the Arcade, so grab some friends and get hunting! (Hint: Elite will offer the greatest payoff).
Isn't that process slow and painful though? Arguably so, yes. But if you really like SK as a game, don't consider it "grinding" or "a drag". Rather, think of it like you're just getting to play more of your favorite game, hopefully with some friends.
