Update: The pods you buy from the depot are found in your arsenal tab under Sprite gear. You can also sell these on the auction house.

It means you have 2 Sprites available to you.
You can switch them around at any time (except in Battle situations obviously).
You can share the harnesses around the Sprites, but the skills have to be gained seperately from scratch.
