It's not a ToS thing, he's just saying that taking cheap shots at a large group of people is a bad call in general. If you have to read a ToS to understand that, you need to rethink your principles.
Now if you said "obvious tumblur user to the rescue" due to the fact that he took a cheap shot at twitter and facebook, theeen I would have laughed. Not that I deny their spammy nature...
