Most swords in the game has a range slightly longer than it looks like but this is just derp.
I think it's a failing when a cosmetic item looks dumb; the blade really should be bigger. Either that or turn them into cutter reskins. With the size, they'd make sense as cutters.

I record it in Fraps, import the .avi into GraphicsGale, crop it, save it as a gif. I dunno why the framerate is so slow. The preview showed me 60fps and when I download and view the image it goes a bit smoother than in the browser.
Gifs are weird, man.

At first I thought you were complaining that the blade is so short that the hitbox doesn't line up.
But that gif seems to show that THE FIRST HITBOX IS NOWHERE NEAR THE SECOND! Wtf!

Actually, the charge attack is like that for the regular Suda too. You just don't see it when you are personally using the sword. The attack is basically two giant brandish explosions that you travel along with.
My complaint is indeed the blade being too short.

I have a sudaruska, and I've never seen the "rocks" pop up behind anyone like that.

How does the reach of the cleaver compare to the sudaruska?
It's shorter in length but its a reskin.. so it has a longer hitbox then shown?

How about you try looking at someone else using the troika/sudaruska charge, then compare it to you using the charge yourself.

Nevertheless, I'm still not going to pay for the sword. It's just a Troika reskin. You could make a Triglav at a much cheaper cost than the Cleaver.

Oh? I'm talking regarding the F2P players. Even though it takes longer, you feel rewarded when you finally finish it.
And besides, Elevators are free of cost which allows you to farm for countless of hours.
Yes, you have a life outside Spiral Knights too, but as I said earlier, you feel rewarded when you complete crafting your 5* Triglav/Sudaruska.
