Whenever I am trying to upgrade the Shadowtech Alchemer into a Shadowtech Alchemer Mk II, the Shadowtech Alchemer does NOT show up in the "SPECIAL" box (below all the materials that you need to create the item). Is it because I cannot craft a bound item? Is it because I should not forge it? Someone please help! (And this problem that I have does NOT just represent the Shadowtech Alchemer, it happens to all my bound items)
Can Bound Items be used in the Alchemy Machine?

Unequip the alchemer. Bound
Unequip the alchemer. Bound weapons/armor can be used, but it will stay bound after you use it to craft it's upgraded version.

I still screw this up myself.
I still screw this up myself. It'd make life much more easier if we could craft equipped stuff, and have the upgraded version stay equipped, but maybe there's something in the gear equip code that'd make this a pain to implement.
OK ok.... so uhh when you go to wash the cloths on you what is the first step?
you take them off or in this case unequipp them. where they equipped?
