Any advantages to Chaos? %99 of the time Im full bomber even in PvP, and I'm only getting a to T3 for T3 LD really, but in the meantime ill be doing lots of PvE to get all my Bombs to 5* and re-acquire my T2 LD set. But I imagine if I don't use swords/guns, mad bomber would be better...

Someone made a pretty decent point about this. For your first set, Mad bomber is easier to get to as magic cloak provides no CTR on the previous lines.
Other than that, nope.

Are you going with damage bombs in pvp? Personally I'm a status bomber in lockdown, so I would take a volcanic demo set over the mad bomber or chaos set. This way, you would still have maxed ctr and a heck of a lot less weaknesses. But I don't have volcanic.
I could see a reason for using chaos if you are strike bombing, but that tends to be a hybrid weapon loadout. The only difference between mad bomber and chaos is the curse weakness on chaos. So it's a slight advantage. But since you are already sacrificing what is basically the same amount of status resistance, take chaos and a sidearm like a toothpick. But if you really are pure bombing, a mad bomber will be a tad bit better.

Well, honestly I haven't put much thought into my end game loadout yet (as in I just haven't added up the bonuses) . I just wanted to get mad bomber to reach max ctr and high damage faster while I get everything else up to 5*, and I was curious if choas would have been more advantageous cause of extra defense or something that I didn't know about.
Eventually I'll go bombastic and/or mercurial mail for LD, but anyway my question has been answered. Thanks
Yes, Mad Bomber is slightly better than Chaos if you use only bombs, due to a slight status advantage. But are you 100% sure that you will always use only bombs? Maybe someday you'll want to use some swords or guns. For me, it's a no-brainer; Chaos has made Mad Bomber obsolete.
