So as we all know after the patch in which 4*, 5* items are bound to the crafter there was A LOT of negative responses to this since this was more or less to everyone a shameless rip-off and an attempt to get more profit from the players (this is what we the players felt about this sudden change) since now every1 had to craft to get what they want in other words get crystal energy, but thats not it they also increased the energy cost of crafting! seems pretty strange to me... so the outcome would be people buying more crystal energy...right? NO!! instead what you get is millions of players leaving your game so what do we do? gee we gotta give them what they want they are the customers!!
so now if u want to sell items 4*, 5* guess what u have to do? pay more crystal energy!! hurray!! so in other words here is how i see it
OOO and sega want our money, they implement a rule that says
OOO and sega:you cant sell your items and you gotta pay more to get your items
Players:we are not happy with the fact that we gotta pay more to make items but its not as bad as to quit the game.... go f*&% yourself we cant trade? thats BS i wont play anymore good luck with only 30% of your players staying.
OOO and sega: oh s%*& we f*@# up -_-! WAIT players of the world!!...ok you want to trade your items....its gonna cost you more $$$ (Hahahaha we are so cleaver >:D)
Players: F$%& YOU!!-
Oh and btw they do this with the next excuse "quote"
Items and crafting are a core part of the game. Achievement in the game is tied to finding and exploring the unique items it is possible to make. For that achievement to be meaningful, some of those items, the most interesting and satisfying to own, need to retain some level of rarity.
After launch, it became increasingly clear that several items that we thought pretty exciting to play with and which we expected to be rare in the game were becoming common. As a result, their value to players was diminished. It was hard for us not to think that this diminished the game.
Over the next month, we plan to implement a new store that will allow players to "unbind" items. There will be a fee for doing so, roughly equal to the cumulative cost of crafting that item.- end of quote
...seriously nick? yes i agree part of the game is to collect weapons (its what i wanted to do) but doesn't this sound like a lame excuse just so you dont have to release more content? the story line goes just s far and the game play is repetitive...
i dunno if this is your intentions or not but to me i feel like all you want is squish as much cash as you can from your players OOO and sega...
and it is a real and big shame because you have a great game...instead of making new sudden and unfair rules try to APPEAL TO YOUR PLAYERS!!
give us new stuff just for fashion and make it cash only like...i dunno color reset pack $1.00 or...custom helm, armor, weapon, shield color packs $2.00 each. something like that doesnt make any difference in a players performance but its just really appealing isnt it? and it doesnt have to be crystal energy it could be plain cash and you WOULD sell it for damn sure!! but no instead of trying to give us YOUR CUSTOMERS what we want or would like you put a fence in front of us and ask us a fee to enter... you have a great game but if you keep this "improvements" your game is going to collapse...
just swallow your pride and reverse the whole thing already...no1 is going to judge or look down on you neither will hey think your a company that obeys the community's orders and commands.

NOTE:
i just wanted to give an example of how real good F2P get money from their players, League of Legends, Riot games is a company to be praised
their game is a complete 100% free of charge you can play it for as long as you like and it wont cost you a dollar.
how they make money then? well they release a new champion every 2 or so weeks to buy this champion you can use IP or RP (IP free ingame currency, RP cash ingame currency) but getting IP takes too long and you wont get enough before the champion is released...but its sooooo tempting to play the new champion so what do people do? they buy RP. Also there are custom skins for every champion so they look awesome in game :D but this skins are cash only... does this stop players? no they buy the RP for the skins. this is what they all say upon champion release

This is the correct way to get money from your players and it will bring upon more players which means even more money and every1 is happy.
Yes, I agree that ( face it Sega and 3 Rings ) having to pay just to explore 1 more hour is ridiculous. I mean c'mon you guys have one of the best online games: Spiral Knights. Don't mess it up with this stupid energy thing. Instead of making your players log off every hour, make them pay for extra in game weapons and gear. i don't know if you realize it Sega and 3 Rings, but you're messing up a perfect game. And the reason I said sorta is that i don't mean it that harshly. But again, all your players are begging you Sega and 3 Rings, please fix this energy problem.
