i have heard rumors though havn't heard it confirmed, but since playing after the updates i have not once found an item off a monster of any sort in the clockworks. does anyone know anything about this? is it true, and are there plans to fix it? because id like to farm for some rare items but am discouraged if regular items dont even have a drop rate anymore. has anyone found ANY items that arent materials at all lately?

i mean items, as in equipment mostly. guns swords shield trinks. everyone i have talked to said nothing has dropped at all recently for any of them

I must be unlucky
In a year and a half of playing off and on i have only seen one love puppy and had one "item" ( a sheild) drop.

theyre very rare drops from treasure boxes, viconaut. most people find one a year. i found a thwack hammer last year and a cutter this one, in fact.
some lucky potatoes find dread venom strikers and mad bomber suits ( the last one i know about because i was frickin there)

Item drops are rare. I've been playing for 29 months, and I've received maybe 10 item drops. I've seen dozens of love puppies, and I've never seen one drop a True Love Locket. I think that you need to tone down your expectations.

Since when did monsters drop anything but hearts/heat/crowns/materials?
If you mean vials, vitapods or hearts yeah they do drop
If you mean equipment drops, those are rare, they do drop though, people are getting True Love Lockets from Love Puppies pretty often, they must be really lucky
If you mean fire crystals and orbs, they only drop from treasure boxes
