Instead of the drop thing, you should do a sprite mission like the others have.
Skyguarder presents: Rocksol, the valestone sprite!
Make it so that only the sprites that are dropped have the prismatic crystals. With such a low drop rate more people would just buy them off the Supply Depot than actually farm for them.
"I would like to add new harnesses, since a new sprite is coming out."
That sounds like you're a developer talking about a planned update for later.
Anyways...

"You would have to go to Wolver Den (any Tier) and defeat Alpha Wolvers (any type). There's a 0.2% chance of an Alpha Wolver, Alpha Ash Tail, Alpha Frostifur, Alpha Voitail OR an Alpha Rabid Wolver dropping a Rocksol Pod."
I dislike this. It should be the same as other sprites - A choice for the start of the game. Then, you can buy it in the supply depot.
"Shadow lairs have a 0.5% - 1% of dropping a Rocksol pod."
Same as above.
"On one random level of the arcade / clockworks PER tier, there would be a secret level involving starlight cradle. The hidden level would not be shown on the gate map. It could be shown for 1 second. If you land on the hidden starlight cradle, your party would be locked an there would be random types of wolvers. There's a 0.1% - 0.5% chance of a wolver dropping it. (Starlight cradle would be recreated)"
Still same as above.

I like the rest of this.
I feel this battle sprite should have shadow, elemental and normal as its damage type. I don't think it should have piercing mainly because i imagine it as a rock/mineral type pokemon hahaah.

I apologize if I try to sound like one, I created this thread more than a year ago so my writing has been quite different.

Currently, the other sprites are "starter" sprites. And I guess it's a bit too limited to make the sprite obtainable through killing monsters only. I'll change that. Also, I'm assuming you dislike the way you could obtain these sprites because of the drop rates being too low?

Agreed on the elemental and normal damage type, but I disagree with shadow. It wouldn't make sense for rocks to deal shadow damage now would it? :P
"Also, I'm assuming you dislike the way you could obtain these sprites because of the drop rates being too low?"
Nope. I don't think it should drop at all. I think it should just be a starter choice, then be available through the supply depot, just like the other sprites.
(BTW, how did you make the quoted text look like that?)

"I think it should just be a starter choice, then be available through the supply depot, just like the other sprites."
The other sprites are E-class starter sprites. I believe that Rocksol deserves to be a unique sprite where a Rocksol sprite could be dropped from a monster. Rocksol can be bought from the supply depot for a higher energy price. Plus
"BTW, how did you make the quoted text look like that?"
Use the < em > HTML tag (no spaces). If you want to end the emphasize writing, simply put a slash between the < and e. So it should look like < /em > (again, no spaces).
The other sprites are E-class starter sprites.
But wait, aren't all the sprites (including this one) just the same sprites, but changed because of the environment in the Clockworks? I feel like I'm missing some information here. (E-Class sprites? What are the other classes?)

"But wait, aren't all the sprites (including this one) just the same sprites, but changed because of the environment in the Clockworks?"
Half correct, because they were changed due to the environment. However, half is incorrect because not all of the sprites are the same.

Quote from the Spiral Knights wiki: Prior to the Skylark crash, the Spiral Knights used small field robots called E-class battle sprites for reconnaissance.
There aren't other classes at the moment, but I'm sure there will be soon.
Still, I don't think it should drop from enemies.
How about Toneluna as a moonstone Battle Sprite?
