Today, a knight was in the clockworks asking someone to loan him 5k crowns. Knight elite rank I believe.

I asked "are you planning to give it back?"

he said "yes."

I was 100% sure he was fibbing, but I wanted to humor myself so I gave him 5k.

Not more than an hour later, I got a mail from him with -6k- in it, and a neat message saying "thanks, here's your 5k back with interest."

I couldn't believe it.

I was so pleased that I sent him back 1k, and an eye of fury as a gift.

Faith in knight-manity restored.

Don't worry, not everybody

Don't worry, not everybody you meet in The clockworks is a stingy cheating cheapskate knight. There are the good proper ones like the person that you mentioned. However, I tend to solo a lot, so I can't say for sure that the majority of knights are like this.

Theory time!

He's from the future, knew that he could bend your mind, and get an eye of fury from you, No wait, forget that

He used a Magic conch to summon the lizard monkey who gave him the ability to look into the future!....GENIUS!

Not all people are scammers but some are, which is why I refrain from giving loans to strangers.

hush draggies. i creep in.

I chipped in 4k energy back then just to unbind somebody else's gran faust back then to buy it, in which I pay as a installment, slowly then repaying back 7k energy as time goes by.

When the supply depot accessory sale was viral, I asked a friend to keep me a pair of wings, a quick cash was earned and was paid back full.

...

People find grace sometimes, but not all. It depends whether if ye give them the chance. They lose it, they don't deserve the second.

About a year ago me and my friends startes giving out 100cr free

But I stopped because no one would ask politely or say thank you. There was also a time when my friend needed help and I couldn't help because I had no mist. So he sent me 3k ce but by then I had to go so I traded him the ce but he didn't accept it. He simply said, keep it.

This thread might encourage idiots to fall victim to desperate people. I personally think that an eye of fury was a little too generous, I mean, overall you got nothing in return and lost a pricey accessory. But good for you to give something to him.

Giving

In cases where I could give, I would tell whoever to do not bother paying me back. On occasion I would be repaid unknowingly (mail of course). And in my first case of lending something to someone, a stranger I emerged from a random mission with asked if I wanted a pulsar. In all honesty I said yes. So he asked to borrow 100 ce, which I had available at the time, and he would unbind it. True to his word, he unbound and exchanged it with me then. That was the first pulsar I had ever gotten from someone.

There are a few friends I would like to pay back as well, if they would only accept. One loaned me 20k and I still have it sitting untouched; once they log back on and I can get to them in person, they are getting it back. And thinking about it, I have had the fortune of mostly encountering people who are true to their word since I started. So I would like to only respond in kind. The funny thing about that, I hardly have anything extra to give apart from minerals.
