It's in the sword files of the game, but you can't access it.
It's be cool if it was like a weaker version of Triglav.

I agree that Vanaduke ought to drop his. And it ought to have two attacks. One slam for action and a charge attack that does something different. If not that then make a smaller version of the mace that is with a charge attack but without a combo. This may be a bad idea I know but it sounds like a good idea at this time.
I think there's a lore issue with Vanaduke dropping his mace however, seeing as there is only one of her.
It's lord vanaduke and lady mace, silly. She's pretty hot!
^
Exactly. When I said "her", I wasn't referring to Vanaduke, I was referring to Justice.
And for those curious, the mace's name, Lady Justice, is referred to in the danger mission "Legion of Almire". You can read about it in the *book after the final arena.
*at least, I'm fairly sure that's the case. Its been awhile since I've done that danger mission, and I don't know if they changed the lore at the end.
I refuse to personify inanimate objects with gender-specific pronouns.
Unfortunately for you Batabii, this is part of the ingame lore. And really, what does your preference have to do with this discussion?
Yeah, like swords we already got are not oversized enough
Well, Maulos' mace does have an inventory icon (it was even updated to match the new icons), so it's not completely farfetched.
Then again, Desna and Rendon's shields and all the unused/beta items have updated inventory icons, so don't get your hopes up.
I for once agree woth batabii, calling the mace lady justice is pretty dumb.
In other ews, Vana mace +1
Now wait, I'm not arguing with the NAME (Assuming it's in the lore), I'm saying it doesn't have a gender because it's not alive.
Vessels. Nature. Art.
Tell me that those aren't refered as females.
And don't make me bring up Google Translate.
Have you never grown some kind of affection for an inanimate object, to the point of threating it as a girl?
@usevn
You're confusing fact with logic. Yes people call them females for some reason. No it doesn't make sense.
@juances
Not even once. Is that something most people do?
My stuffed seal is a girl, and no amount of denying that will change my mind.
But if you're wanting to be all technical, tell pet owners to stop calling their pets their babies. Also, go tell just about every other language out there to take genders out of words. Vanaduke is a fictional, insane lost soul who rules over a lost kingdom, but the fact he views his mace as a female is what stands out? Huh.
You are very peculiar.
I'm saying it doesn't have a gender because it's not alive.
So when you die you lose your gender? The rest of the people on this thread have kind of detracted from the topic by bringing up the point that inanimate objects are sometimes referred to as female, but that's not what I'm talking about. Justice was originally a female Almirian before her transformation into Vanaduke's mace.
I've been reading that book at the end of LoA a derpbillion of times and still can't see anything about lady justice, other than that "Justice fled from the kingdom" or so. Plus, it's just the chancellor's wording...
Also, smack your enemies with your wife. Best way to show your love ever.

I don't think that can mean anything else other than exactly what it says on the tin. The last phrase "Justice is swift, unflinching, merciless" is simply the Chancellor writing how her name is now a pun on what she is. If he meant justice as in the principle, he would have said "the burning scepter is now justice", not the other way around.
@fangel
I do hate when pet owners say that. And I do agree that grammatical genders don't make sense (I'm reminded of this strip, actually)
@hexzyle
Let me clarify. I'm not saying ALL living things have a gender, nor am I saying they STOP having a gender if they die. But I AM saying that things that were never organic or never reproduce can't have a gender.
For example, I would still consider an android with a male appearance to be an "it".
Also from that screenshot, it looks like Justice is a metaphor. Were Law and Order weapons too?
Or thick... Or both.
anyway batabii, do some reading once in awhile and you would get that the codex excerpt states, rather plainly, that knights had these English word-name-thingies... And that a particularly hawt one was morphed into vana's rattle. Ok?
Actually, people do refer to sports cars as females. But an item/character in an online video game?
That is really sad...
People have a nagging need to personify everything...
Human nature and all that, but when the game lore states that vana's mace was a she before being morphed.... then the mace is a she....
@Batabii
Also from that screenshot, it looks like Justice is a metaphor
I just finished disproving that in comment #23. If you have a rebuttal, I'd love to hear it.
Were Law and Order weapons too?
What... what... what are you talking about >.> Did you just skim over it or something? Law and Order fled Almire, and Justice was the only one who was warped into a weapon.
It seems that in this game, a lot of characters have their name as a pun on what their role is. Virgil, Basil, Greave, Randolph, all pet and monster names, Would it not make sense that there are Almirian senate members with names based off ideal society principles? Not to mention they're capitalized like proper nouns.
@Skold-The-Drac
People have a nagging need to personify everything.
Heh, yeah. I've seen quite a few personifications of leucochloridium, of all things, and I'm guilty of a few spiral knights personifications myself
Vanaduke should drop his too.
Or at least reskin the fang of vog.
