Okay I probably didn't do a lot of checking around for whether or not other people have done similar suggestions, and it's totally based on personal tastes but I'm just tossing this out here because I want to.

I want more creepy in the game. The graveyard isn't really doing it for me because it's kind of cheesy and any fright I might have had is nullified by how annoying Phantoms are. That and I've seen too much creepypasta and things (suicidemouse.avi, Dead Bart, Candle Cove, to name a few).

The best way to express my suggestion is that all of you should play (if you haven't already) LSD: Dream Emulator and/or Yume Nikki (and having played the latter, look for the fangame of it called ".flow", and yes the dot is part of the name), I seriously think the people making the game could get some ideas from those, especially LSD.

here's an LP of LSD: Dream Emulator http://youtu.be/qUzxbmduww8

and here's a link to download Yume Nikki: http://uboachan.net/media/res/1.xhtml

if we can't get creepier without driving too many people away we can at least have some more randomized/bizarre phenomenon that's just there for the sake of "HEY LOOK AT THAT".

and an UBOAAAAAAA mask wouldn't hurt either.

I couldn't get a copy of

I couldn't get a copy of .flow to work, but I have played Yume Nikki. It is fantastically creepy, and I like the idea of creepifying the graveyards a little more. That said, I think the sound of four phantoms bearing down on you in T2, T3 is more than scary enough. Although that is more of a "FFFFF- RUN!!!" than a horror movie surprise-creepy.

On a side note, can you tell me how you got .flow to work?

The game is generally lacking

The game is generally lacking in atmosphere and eye candy. I think this suits the dungeon-running core of the game, but it also makes exploring the depths very repetitive. Adding unique, eye-catching features could help players identify and navigate levels.
