I hope this belongs in this forum.

Hey! I am the owner of a minecraft server and we are looking for new players! We have 25 slots and average 20 tps (no lag). We aren't whitelisted currently however we use groupmanager. We have bukkit plugins to prevent grief and give our players a good time. The server is survival. We have friendly staff, and fun plugins. There is room for advancement too! Not all the staff spots are taken so you may be promoted. We use essentials, lockette, enjin, mcMMO, chestshop, and killermoney. You guys do realize that this is the forum for other games right? That means that I can post this here. And without ads how do you get players? You don't thats how. Its like a guild. Do you complain when someone posts an ad for their guild?

and this fourm is for things "non-spiral bent," it doesn't mean everyone can come in here and post advertisments for other games

This is't some random forum. I have been playing a bit. Its not like I just went on random websites. And this is for non spiral things. So.. I don't see any problems here besides your attitude.

Let me clear this up.

While you are posting this in the right sub-forum, not many people like it when they use another game's forum to promote a different game. We can talk about other games, but don't promote them like this. You wouldn't like it if someone went on the minecraft forums and said " I play this game called Spiral Knights and I have a guild there. We are looking for fun, non try-hards, and accept all star levels."

I told the people on the starsector forum I frequent about the less than stellar response to this thread. They cracked up after I told them that the thread was on the off topic forum. The general consensus was "Thats what an off topic forum is for" And the bit about "we come here to play games" better not be true. This is the forums. No game here XD
