Since my gamepad doesn't work and my other gamepad glitches with The program that I use for my gamepad I can't do anything..
Why is there a gamepad option on controls if it doesn't work?

If you have Windows7: go to Start > Games > Tools > Input Devices and you'll see if it's working or not.

Darn it juances....
And how wouldn't it recongize my device? A lot of people have this problem too. And I checked too. Thanks for the advice though.

have the same problem with my ipod not being recgonized. (Darn You Apple! I will not buy an iMac just to get my ipod working!)
Pretty much, if its USB drive, there might be a problem with the Driver Bays and your just gonna have to connect and disconnect till it works.
If your using a controller not native to Windows, its most likely not gonna work unless you download a software to recognize it.

k it works now but
Whenever i press shield it stays as a shiield even when i take out my controller...

Yah madcatz suck..
I guess I was lucky with my last one... It would move very very slowly on its own and it waa annoying but on this one rt and lt are completely jammed it seems.

I have this problem, too, shank, castle crashers and battle chess, work fine, but spiral knights... not so much.
I have an XBOX controller by the way.

I would be using control mk but
My madcatz cpntrollers always glitch with them. On my old one it would rise slowly on its own and when I pressed the up button very quickly it would go down. I also wasn't able to click with it. Are there othee programs?

Or Joy2key (think thats how you type it) or google a program that maps keystrokes as buttons.
Because it was designed for MY gamepad wich works flawlessly.
