I've got no idea if there's been another thread about this, seeing as i couldn't find it. But most people have read the patch notes about the AH's UV sorting, and read it as "Oh, so it sorts on UV, that's nice". But it doesn't say that at all.
It cleary states "# Of Unique Variants". Telling us we can have more than one UV on an item. So i'm wondering. Is this what it's supposed to say, and if it is, does anyone have items with more than one UV, if so, screenie please?
Pretty interesting. I wonder though if it's just possible "later". You don't think it's weird that they already added a # of UV sorting to the AH when it's not even possible yet?
I'd assume that means you can put things with 1 UV before things with 0 UVs. Or vice versa.
i thought that really odd too, but like Covaithe said, probably just sorting by 0 and 1. Gives some insight into the way UVs are applied to weapons though. Rather than having UV property, maybe HasUV boolean value, they must have a list of UVs that has a count which would be 0 or greater. Then the new UV sort sorts by the UV count.
Definitely opens the possibility of multiple UVs.
Perhaps getting a 2nd UV on an item is about as rare as finding the Blackend Crest.
I caught that too when I read it and I was just like uh but I thought you could only have 1 uv on an item? Either it's a mistake, a planned feature, or it's SUPER EXTREMELY RARE.

Ignored people show up as 5 stars and show that they have 3 crafting bonus. So its possible at late future, maybe there could be more than 1 UV.
...but don't hope too much!
