No bomb line weapon for Jelly Gems

I know this would take some time, but I would really love to see a sealed-sword/antigua-like bomb line purchasable with Jelly Gems. As a bomber, there is no longer an incentive for me to face the Jelly King since I cannot profit from crafting the higher level weapons (genuinely not a jab at the recent patch changes). I really would love to see a new sort of bomb that could be crafted into specialized damage type dealers.

For those not in the know, bombing is kind of a unique type of combat, where if you wish to deal damage you have a number of normal type bombs available to you and the rest of your arsenal is aimed at supporting your party with statuses. Meaning you don't really do damage. You make it easier for other people to do damage. And if you really WANT to do damage, you're stuck with normal-type weapon lines. I really like this design, because it makes me feel like I have a tool box that is situationally useful within levels, so, rather than sticking with the gun or sword that is useful for all the monsters I will face on a given level, I shift my strategy often within rooms or battles, freezing large groups in place, flaming medium sized groups, and directly attacking stragglers.

But, lately, I've been wondering if maybe there isn't room for damage bombs that are actually used for their types. The haze-bomb lines have very small blast radii, so sometimes you get nice elemental numbers from them, but really you are using those bombs for their status clouds and not to deal direct damage. The graviton bombs and crystal bombs (the shadow and piercing damage dealers) are more novelty than useful. It's fun to trap things in a vortex or position a crystal bomb to take out a gun puppy once or twice, but they don't really have a place in a solid bomber toolbox. They actually aren't better than simply using a nitronome if you want to deal damage.

So this is where I think a jelly gem line of bombs could fill a hole. At the moment a bomber utilizes normal-damage bombs to deal damage, and status afflicting bombs for utility. I'd love to see some specialized damage-type bombs for purchase with tokens.

And while I'm at it, here's a super off the wall suggestion. Since real bombers really are primarily a support class for the rest of their party, why not get really creative with support style bombs? How about a bomb that when it goes off creates a little circle on the ground that if knights stand in it, damage they take is cut drastically, so it's like a shield without having to use your shield. This would last a certain amount of time or absorb a certain amount of damage. How about bombs that create fields that remove status effects from players that run over them?

That's it. Thanks for considering.

I think we should have our

I think we should have our own line too. Though I'm aware they may have to think about it so we don't get something totally overpowered but I'm sure they can think of something.

Random suggestions that I'm not serious about

Our own gremlin style mini bombs, extremely fast charge, small radii, moderate damage. Droppable even if you get hit.

Status cure bomb and perhaps slow heal (.5 health per sec, 5 seconds ring). Small ring even at five star.

The normal + element damage bombs, firecracker and cold snap. Make a bomb that's like them. Status is inflicted immediately on explosion and does not create a lasting mist. Damage on explosion is only about 1/4 of a nitronome but the status chances should make up for that. This is to help stop the uselessness of Ash/Shivermist upon their respective elements, you could deal damage even if their effects don't work against their respective enemies without upsetting the effectiveness of the opposing weapons that are better and doing damage or status.

Curse bomb? lol...

I agree

I agree with the OP. That would be great. A nice awesome shadow/curse bomb--something comparable to the faust line of sword. On one hand, no reason for it to be overpowered...on the other hand the divine avenger/gran faust may be the 2 best swords on the game...
Or maybe a jelly gem trinket that increases bomb strength or damage radius. Something.

hahaha then they can make a bomb trinket slot and charge us 1 MILLION CE!!!!

Oh that bad joke just made me think, it a great bomber item from jelly gems would be an extra 5th weapon slot that can only be used for a bomb, and u could only use if you already are equipping 2 bombs!! -->would have to be using at least 3 bombs total. I.e. Make it truly a bomber item, not something that equally benefits sword/gun users.

Always want more bombs

I'd like a bomb to save boss tokens for, but maybe that would be best saved for a new boss. I'm already going to be sick of the Royal Jelly after getting the hundred tokens I need for the 4 weapons that comes from its tokens already!

bomb suggestions

Bomb Suggestions:

- a bomb that makes a force field around the blast radius where knights could take cover.....this'd be great for vanaduke runs.......it should have a fast charge time........just like in Halo lol
weakness: its limited in tme ...and breakable (duh)

- a kind of crystal bomb that explodes and rains on the blast radius.....
weakness: avoidable low charge time

- a bomb that explodes and creates a mobile tornado that sucks everything and damages enemies.......of course gun puppies and large monsters would be immune to the vacuuming ability......this should be 3 or 4* to 5* since it is unavoidable......if a PvP is created...then the only way to not get caught in it is to outrun it........
weakness: vanishes when blocked by trojans or vanaduke and low charge time

- oh and maybe a bomb that when detonates, it becomes like a buzzsaw that rebounds on walls like crazy .....effective in arenas.....but immune to blocking mecha knights, trojans and vanaduke.....this should be like 3* to 5* ....smaller in diameter when 3* then gets larger when upgraded
weakness: can't rebound if there are no walls

- hmmmm......well, thats all for now......
