Burmp
Ur at ep 60 btw :)
A quick note on recon footsteps, since that was a discussion point in the last two videos:
Recons are incredibly easy to find on snowbased maps, such as Avenue, Downtown and Frostbite. Your best bet, if you are gonna go recon at all, is to try and stick to the outskirts of the map, since the fog that seems to appear up top tends to cover the footprints a bit. Otherwise, once someone can pinpoint where you are, it doesn't matter if you have the cloak or not. On maps that have the mechanical-style flooring, or any map that is dimly lit (Stadium and Forest are prime examples, respectively), it's a bit easier to hide the footprints as long as you stay out of the more well-lit areas (dark dust textures on a light background kind of makes this self-explanatory).
If you can't avoid those things, then the next best thing is to force the fights on the point if you have the advantage. I can't tell you how many times I've lost track of a recon for a moment only to figure out where they're at again because they step on the point. Ground markers are a huge indicator that can work against the recon if it's done at the wrong time.
Thanks to all for your support and especially patience. More episodes on the way!
Eyyyyyy new vid!
Bumpin erry time ew vid gets up!
:p
I got a new headset and espresso maker for Christmas and am playing around with them a bit. Stand by!
dam blueflood you have such great connection "_" i live in US and i still have horrible internetz.
Joseanand invited me to play in EU for a bit. Maybe I'll do a few vids there with a worse connection for fun :p.
I watched the recon team video. It looked like a pretty fun game. I always have fun pairing with other recons :D
I did notice something I thought was interesting: when you shoot, you keep your cursor closer to the center of the screen.
Maybe bringing it up is weird, but whether to keep the mouse closer to center, closer to target, or past target when aiming guns was something I thought about deliberately when trying to find my way to aim. I ended up settling with mostly keeping the cursor past the target (closer to the edge of the screen), as I have a fairly-sensitive mouse and am more used to twitch-shooting than keeping a steady shot, so I keep it further away from the center to compensate.
You do have quite the steady shot though <_> slow targets are the death of me haha.
I'm one of those weird guys with a ball mouse. In FPS games you keep it centered, then quickly flick the mouse on the target then back after firing. The biggest benefit it gives you is that you never run out of table space - no need to pick up the mouse and reposition if you're turning one direction too much. TY for the compliment, and i envy your magic switch shooting fingers :p
i am honored to have my guild featured, especially in episode 69
I'm ATlwATys delighted to see someone show the FATng of Vog some ATttention ATnd love.
i expect this to be used at some point or another for background music
though it might be a little too fast paced compared to some of your other track choices so idk
90 percent of the time I have a radio station on that plays a mix of music from ocremix.org. I want to avoid YouTube catching some copyrighted music and preventing some of you from watching. Pokemon was a bit after my time. I prefer the early final fantasy remixes :).
completely understandable
in that case, i would recommend some of the stuff from the super street fighter II turbo HD OST, since it was a collab project between them and capcom for the game
and while i'm not a fan of all the remixes, that one does enough justice to the original themes to where it's pretty catchy and tends to fit better with more of your videos' pacing
regardless of music suggestions, still fun to watch these when my net's being too crappy to let me play a decent game of LD
Bump!
Oh btw reflexology sucks lol, he is too predictable. But Ezho and Snarkey are unknown to me.
Y no asi meds on ur stuff?
I did a string of episodes as opposed to just 1. Let me know what you think!
On a side note - I know I have been doing several GvG matches lately, but I believe I'm going to calm down on them. It tends to bring out the gripe in me since I'm obviously very biased against certain styles of play which people exploit - basically ruining the concept of it being an actual friendly competitive GAME and turning it into... something else. RLD matches seem much more fun as new and old people are in the mix.
I'll probably just stick with RLD, but who knows! A GvG match might pop up here once in a while.

I can tell you got a new expresso maker from your cocainesque commentary on the Weedwacker vog/flourish video, hahaha.
You'd be a god amongst men if you combo'd a shock source with catalyzer charges.
^I would honestly mail him 30k crowns if he neutralizer shock combokilled someone with the charges.
No set up, neut/bio/any catalyzer, at least 3 charges, must kill the person.
Can u do it blue? 30k be waitin for this godly display!
Lawnmoing service 4 hire pls
Wow. Almost hit 100 episodes. I'm thinking I should do something special for when we hit 100... any ideas?
Catalyzer charges are terribly glitched in Lockdown.
You can try it out with a friend this way:
- Have your friend hold charge (no invincibility frames during charge hold)
- Set catalyzer charges
- Detonate
I will guarantee the only damage they take is from the regular shot that detonates it.
Also other bugs:
- If someone has put a catalyzer charge on you, you can detonate yourself by standing next to a wall and shooting it, or chasing the projectile with boost/dash so you stand at the point it ends.
- With Biohazard, the charge might not do damage, but with a self-detonation, you can poison your teammates and the person who shot you in the first place.
sorry :x
---
Also, sorry, no ideas for a 100th either, but you have a ways to go til then :P
Wow...that sucks. So many annoying bugs..
Ok blue, how about this for your 100th video?
A proto armor montage set to Yakety Sax song 10 mins long?
Or maybe just a 1 hr special or 30 mins or something.
Or ....yeah i got nothin
dual (duel) commentary with people you're playing, just queue together and go nuts
Idea A: Make your 100th video using the same loadout you did for your 1st video.
Idea B: Rally together a group to do a couple of Tier 1 matches using only Proto gear.
^2 votes for something proto related?
Yakety sax? As backgground music?
post 34: 'i will dive into T2 shortly' (november 2013)
well,yeah....I don't wanna rush u or anything but.....
anyway good videos, the clockworks are also fun :)
100th video: spam FOV CHARGES like quote ^^

sry double post
Good point!
Unfortunately during my main play time there are rare if any T2 games going on. I'll keep my eye out and hopefully have one soon.
As for being like Quote, none can come close. None
For the vile shock, would it be easier to punish shock as a striker?
Perhaps, but variety is the spice of life :) I don't get how people play the same things over and over, but to each his own.
So true. I just made an ugly vog and ancient plate combo, and it sucks. Butt fun to play?
Yes fun to play!.
Added Ep 94, with a little bump cause guest commentary is awesome.
Apologies for neglecting this thread for the past few days. It's been busy on my end with the SL runs as well as working on a project to celebrate episode 100. We recently hit 200 subscribers as well, so thanks a bunch to everyone who has supported this thread!
As for the episode 100 project... Just a little hint. Since you've spent so much time watching me, I'll be returning the favor. Expect me to be creeping in on you guys during your matches :p.
congrats :)
why didn't I get featured :P (jk im not important anyway)
:p. I honestly just watched a lot of people I knew for one random match and went with that. It's impossible to capture the good side of everyone, but I tried!
This week, I got an idea from Retequizzle about a new theme I may make fairly regular. You know, something to spice up LD since it's been pretty stagnant for updates for a year or so.
Check out Ep 108 for how it works and let me know what you think!
Now that I have a point of direct comparison I'm surprised that your latency can be as bad as mine, even though you've got three bars more. Something funky going on with that. I do appreciate your play more for it, you do some very nice shot leading and dodging. Pity that phantom hits ruin so much of that. At any rate, your commentary is perceptive and amusing and I look forward to more c: especially with teh nitro because boom boom
