How about we buff Mecha Knight and Spiral Knight allies?

Give 'em more fighting power, if just slight enough to do a significant difference at all. It's really underwhelming in the missions where you rescue four knights and stage an assault, only to realize that your own attacks are the ones that really count because the rest is blatant cherry tapping.

Make them more conscious of their shield as well, I never see them raise their shields. It really hurts to see knights with a Mighty Defender only to see that they never learned how to hide behind it in the first place.

And also, allow them to pick up mineral deposits so they can add to your total. That would give mecha knights a lot more useage and in return making collecting minerals easier for both constructing gates and feeding sprites, especially in a time when sprite maintenance is hindering gate constructing activities. I mean really, why wasn't that done in the first place?

Not NPC Knights because

Not NPC Knights because they're immortal, but yes to buffing Mecha Knight offenses. Not defenses though, let them be that kamikaze robot that we know and love. The auto-grab nearest mineral would be cool feature too.

Yes please, it's sad when players just pick up the Mecha Knight Kits to spam them all at once at the end of a run for "lol so many guys! :D" screenshots.

They're really only useless on Vanaduke runs. In danger missions mecha knights can be useful distractions.

I completely agree on buffing the actual Spiral Knights though... their damage doesn't even register on elite. All they're good for is pinning a devilite or two off into a corner.

Looking back at the origin of my name makes me cry emotionally.

By the way, I've noticed that when some players leave a party, the mineral they carried just vanish instead of dropping on the ground. This should be fixed, considering Mecha Knights are very existentially volatile. It's quite a pain when a friend picks up a large/shiny deposit and it ends up disappearing before reaching the elevator.

I'm all for this. They shouldn't be as powerful as even lower-tier players, but jeez, let the poor things do at least some amount of noticeable damage. As it is, all they're good for is as distractions for Fiends and the like. I saw some YouTube recording floating around of a few NPC knights wailing on an almost-dead enemy in a corner, and it probably took them a good five minutes of real-time to finish the thing off. That's just sad.
