Does this stack with CTR bonuses, or cap out? I can't really decide between valkyrian or seraphic.

Really? That kind of sucks. Then again, I don't suppose chaos users are THAT common...and even if it's less useful, I kinda hate using the same setup as everyone else...

It hits CTR Max and doesn't go further, but it's still good for people who want to either support bombers or people not in Chaos gear.
Besides, being tanky for 8-10 seconds never hurts either, either with Valkyrian or whatever the other aura is.

"being tanky" is beside the point. You're tanky no matter what ultimate you choose.
I went ahead with Seraphic because I tend to use Chaos a lot, and most of my party members aren't smart enough to stay in my aura when I deliberately shield them with it.
It's a shame too. Shield regen boost is a totally unique property. In fact, I notice EVERY Seraphynx ultimate I picked has a unique property:
Disintegration ray has Defense Down
Violent Heart Attack has explosions (yes I know it's bugged, also I know the defense pickups are more unique)
Seraphic Aura has shield regen.
Do other Sprite abilities have wholly unique properties? I know Backfire Barrier has speed boost (not to mention the barrier itself), but the other two of Drakon's abilities seem...fairly generic so far (firestorm=AoA, Firebolt =Spitfire). Hexing Haze and Caustic Quills are semi-unique too, though ultimately it's just poison and/or damage, though I don't have a maskeraith.
it stacks up to max ctr. doesn't go over like mask's and drakon's asi and damage buff.
