Almost a year later, not really mentioned in the things to come unless it has to do with the arcade redux. Is this idea dead and forgotten? Thoughts below ;)

The new guild halls are as secure as the old ones.
I don't see how snarby statues and a potted plant could protect us...
Until they let us buy automated cannons or combat-ready rocket snipes I wouldn't worry.
I don't. Because, I wasn't active. Therefore, my homecoming stuff is non-existant. ;-;
Yes, I remember, and I'm still waiting... and hoping it wasn't just flavor text. Because flavor text ≠ lying. Or at least it shouldn't.
I'm assuming this will have to do with the Arcade revamp. I would say this is obvious, but I think it was only an impression I got.
So yeah, my guess is that the Guild Hall's becoming like a safe Haven will be due to some of the Arcade stuff. Then again, has anyone noticed the missing wandering NPCs? They've been gone for a while now. Maybe OOO changed their mind about it entirely. Or put it on hold. Sometimes priorities can be rearranged.
Give it some time, let the mystery of it keep you on edge.
Maybe the coming missions will explore the Swarm. Or not.
