That version haven't any insides of building and lights, so playing on this map in night isn't good idea, sorry about that. :(

Bah. I was ninja'd but yeah. Get dat Smooth Sandstone, and it'b be near perfect. Only thing is, the Arcade, it has more gates on the very bottom, it's the Depth 0 gates, when you start a T1 run, that's where you go. :3
Can you put a copy of this world online so the rest of us can download it?
It's a very basic map, there's no even insides of buildings and Garrison isn't finished yet, if I finish it I will upload the whole map.
I don't think the more sandstones is a good idea, there's enough yellow color, especially on Garrison. D:
I love it, I would like to suggest looking into tekkit, they have a lot of different packs with tech builds and blocks that might help out with the project. Also, if you plan on doing the entering areas of buildings, I suggest a tripwire, so it looks like the lines we see in the game to move to different areas. Just have it attached to a command block to teleport you to the "inside" of that building.

Basic elements are finished, now I'm doing background across entire map (except on Arcade),

Now the problem is... the lights. I haven't a freaking idea where to put them, for now it's impossible to play on this map in night.

You're using texture pack, so your would look better in my opinion.

There IS an sk texture pack, you just have to look a little bit for it. Believe its called spiral craft
I am going to learn Java just to make an SK mod. Ok maybe not. I'd be glad to be a mod/gm/captain or whatever if you make a server out of this.
Now I feel like I'm trying to steal the glory here, but I happen to be halfway decent at making skins. I'd be glad to make some skins for you, or mod the spiral craft texture pack.
Wow! This is amazing! How long did it take for you to make this? The detail in unbelievable, even if you haven't finished some of the rooms yet. I'm sure I'll have some fun looking for the easter eggs.
I'd be ecstatic to see this map turn into a full-blown server. I'd totally participate.
You've got the basic layout done, but if only there was a custom Spiral Knights skin...
Can't you also replace some of the stone with smooth sandstone?
