Anyone else feel like prestige points are going down the same road as DLC?
It was such a huge thing when it was released. But we've only had one special event centered around prestige.
I wonder if OOO is going to ever use it again.

Up to a point, yeah, but you don't get any badge by just doing Rank Missions.
First badge comes at 5000, doing Rank Missions alone gets you to 4410 (plus 20 for the Collector Mission that my Vanguard alt hasn't yet bothered with, he just got himself a Sprite).
Anyway, your point is even strenghtened; we haven't yet gotten anything for that number which is vaguely indicated next to your name (or not if it's too low).
I got the 45k points just in case something will ever come off it. I dimly recall there was mention of a reward?
Way back when my initial hope was cheaper Supply Depot prices.
By now I'm so disheartened, I guess I'd even like a unique flower pot for each Badge that was gained, for the Guild Hall. (So the ones with 45k get one of each kind.)

I'm pretty sure I logged on at least once every day since Prestige was introduced, and am yet still waiting for any purpose for the points.
If you mean the thing where we got a free sword, shield, and stand; that was Rank, not Prestige.
