http://oi53.tinypic.com/2po8t8j.jpg =w= it makes ultra.
Contrary to popular belief, high + medium does not = maximum.
Low [ 1 ], Medium [ 2 ], High [ 3 ], Very High [ 4 ], Ultra [ 5 ], Maximum [ 6 ]. There ya go. :o
"Low [ 1 ], Medium [ 2 ], High [ 3 ], Very High [ 4 ], Ultra [ 5 ], Maximum [ 6 ]."
This, exactly.
High [3]
+
Medium [2]
=
Ultra [5]
So wait is this confirmed?
The ranks are low, med, high, very high, ultra, and max?
I don't think it was ever popular to believe that high+med resulted in anything but ultra unless 3+2=6. Why do you think would people pay 5k CE for vhigh CTR haze bombs instead of just getting high CTR haze bombs for 2k CE?
@GoS:
It's in the wiki. A bit buried and all, but it's in there. Yes: Those are the ranks, and that is how they combine in general.
There are weird limits on the biggest UV you can get on some items, and on UV functionality, which I *don't* understand, but the above it the gist of it.
So wth would an Ultra CTR on Haze go for?
If low is like 150ce, med is like 500ce, high is like 3kce-4kce, and v high is over 5kce, then what does Ultra and Max go for in CE???!!!
@Levi I knew about low, med, high, and very high but I was completely unaware of ultra and max, in fact I was informed that Very high WAS Max.
Weapon UVs are capped at vhigh
If that's the case then OP's picture is a fake because that is a bomb and that is a weapon.
Are you Eeks?
I believe that when crafting a weapon, you can't get a result better than Very High.
But that's not true on armor. Nor is it true when combining item effects.
UVs on weapons are capped at vhigh but they can still combine with the natural charge reductions that weapons get at level 10 which means that his UV of high + med = Ultra.
So very high on Haze with CTR is the HIGHEST it can go?
However armor can go up to max?
What is combining effects?
No. CTR on a haze bomb can reach MAXIMUM!, however the unique variant can only reach very high. Haze bombs, like other weapons, receive a CTR of medium at level 10 which means a UV of very high (4) and the natural CTR bonus at level 10 of medium (2) would add up to MAXIMUM! (6).
'Maximum!' is something that can only ever be achieved on your character's total stats. You'll never find it on an item.
So to clarify UV's can ONLY BE V. High
Also Op's picture has to be fake, there is no way to get Utra without a UV on it or that was my understanding of this conversation.
The OP's picture isn't fake. His mouse is pointing on the bomb that's on the bottom of his stat page and the stuff on the bottom of the stat page shows the calculated stats, not the individual stats of each thing equipped. If his mouse pointed on the bomb to the right, it would say CTR: Medium. The bottom adds the medium and the level 10 CTR bonus which would make it show as CTR: Ultra.
Well, it might be if he's a really good editor.
Edit: Hi Nick!
Yes, he is pointing to his 'sum total of all items, plus equip slot 2' icon.
Oh I didn't realize there were 2 different tooltips.
Just so people aren't confused, high and high does not make max (or fill the bar in other words) when it comes to status resists. For example, if you have a high shock resist helm, with a high shock resist suit, the bar will not be full. I think (not confirmed), that you have to have two maxs to fill the bar (this is what the suits have at star level 5). In other words, Vog Cub Coat has max fire resist.
Edit: Er, just read Nick's post. Wtf, how do you get max status resist then?
I'm rather sure that Nick is referring to Weapons only.
Armors have the UV Levels Low-Moderate-High-Maximum (where max fills half a status bar (and medium 1/4), simmilar to the resist effects of 5* armor)
the node, its over 9000! O:
