More specifically, don't even bother with the forums. More people will see it in trade chat than on the forums (even the bazaar tends to flow quickly)
Price check would be better suited to the Bazaar, if you can keep your thread treading water there.
Otherwise, you can usually get a price check via joining the trade channel (type /join 2) and then posting "Price Check: Perfect Mask of Seerus w/ Elemental High" a few times (post with /2 [MESSAGE]). Usually I'll do this sort of thing every now and then between runs. It may take a bit, but you'll eventually get it appraised and may even find a few offers.
(It'll probably be seen by more people in Trade Chat than on the forums)
