So, while I was out bombing in lockdown, I noticed a serious balance issue in terms of UVs.
UVs that give status res pretty much renders haze bombs >useless< and I noticed this makes bombers even less useful in lockdown and provided with other bombs (blastbombs, shards etc) are easily avoided, this makes it very hard to play lockdown as a bomber. Sure, you can use a gun & a sword along with your bombs, but you'll always be outmatched no matter what in terms of these weapons.
What I'm trying to get across is that the fact armour status UVs make bombers pretty much useless...
Or it's just I'm bad at lockdown.
This isn't really anything new. The worst part is that it's visible in no way. If someone is wearing full Quicksilver, you know they're gonna be able to walk through your VT. If they're wearing Skolver, they could but aren't guaranteeed to be able to. As a result of that, I think Haze bombs should be impossible to tell apart if you could walk through them with UVs on your gear. Example:
A full Quicksilver user can walk through VT. The bomber can identify this advantage and the only disadvantage is therefore that the bomb can't be used against the Quicksilver user.
A full Skolver user might or might not be able to walk through VT. The Skolver knows which one is true but the bomber does not until it is demonstrated. No side can identify if the other has the advantage and thus, the VT should appear grey to the Skolver user.
I don't think it's possible to have such a weakness to something that it's impossible to walk through a Haze bomb as you can use trinkets and the guardian class. Am I mistaken there?
