Has anyone ever made a cosplay of their knight and gone to a convention? If so, post a picture, I'd love to see it!

I'm asking because I have 3 spare months before I head off to college and at the very least, I could do something mildly creative to keep me busy.

Aw!

I wish you had a pic! I'm going to see if over these 3 months, I can construct my dream costume set (frosty Draped Armor w/ Divine Valks, Divine Cat Tail, & Frosty Parrying Blade, and a Spiral Tailed Helm with Hallow Vertical Vents, Divine Halo, and Frosty Scarf)

Based on this character:

She died unfortunately though :( *cries* So I guess this is her dead form.

I think all I actually did to find it was Googling "Spiral Knights". I bet if you searched up "Spiral Knights Cosplay" you'd most definetely get then results you're looking for.

EDIT: I was wrong :3 I found only an Acheron looking thing and that was all.

I found this, actually:

Looks complicated and involves a saw... Definitely couldn't pull that off but it did come out nicely.

Yes, there is SK cosplay. I can't find the link, but if you look up Spiral Knights on facebook and click on 'photos of Spiral Knights' you will find at least one example.

Hmm...

Would anyone like to give advice as to how to make a good cosplay? That one guy's post for the skolver set seems way out of my league.

Hey everybody, this is Kaykove (kkovacin)

Although it may seem so in the blog posts, actually making the hard bits of a 'knight is not all that complicated, just a bit daunting. If you wanted to, you could make almost any SK helmet or item with just some foam, any serrated blade, some sandpaper, and some paint to finish it. The rest is just planning and little details to make the piece seem more realistic and/or closer to the in-game item, which are only necessary if you want them to be. Even then, all you really need at the least is a side-view drawing to work from. For me, the hardest part of model making is to stop fussing over my plans and a just get to work!
