After levling my Maskeraith, level 37, I had one appetite bar left. I then fed it a 4* mat, and it didn't gain any heat
This isn't the first time that it happened, but before I thought I might've been imagining things.
It seems to happen when I feed my pet with only 1 appetite bar left after I leveled him, but it may happen at other times.
After my appetite bar refills, I will try feeding it after leveling up with more appetite bars left, etc.
Battle Sprite won't heat after leveling up?

This is due to the progress meter marker being bigger than the amount of heat that your pet has. The heat is still being gained, it's just to minute to be displayed.
