How many of you have met someone from Spiral Knights and then met up in real life? It has to specifically be from Spiral Knights.

Curious about a few other details as well if you don't mind:
How long had you known each other in Spiral Knights before the initial meetup?
What was the nature of your relationship? Just friends or... more?
How many times have you met up thus far?
How did the initial meetup affect your relationship?

I'm aware of people of who have met up in real life after meeting online, but I'm specifically looking for people who have met in Spiral Knights. I know a couple of people in Spiral Knights who have met in real life, but do not know if they found each other in Spiral Knights.

Well i actually met a few

Well i actually met a few people from spiral knights,but on instagram though. They are Abbykat, Maddiz, swordman-ernst, and possiblespy we are very good friends but i haven't seen on spiral knights or instagram, except spy, in a while

I rarely find people in my state when playing any game

Even though I live in the biggest city in my state. I've had one friend I met over four years ago visit me, but I have yet to meet up with anyone else.

That being said, if any of you forumers are Oregonians, send me a mail or message in game. We can talk all about this crummy weather we've had lately.

I've stated quite a few times that my dad found SK for me back in mid April 2011, but I quit for about 6 months short after I was still 0* after finding out they were teamed with Sega only to come back to find out SK was the best-under-rated MMO I have ever played in my entire life.

I thought I was meeting up with this hot blonde girl, turns out it was actually a guy called Tyler and...

long story short; he wanted me to do him a favor which was to hit him as hard as I could and then it got pretty hazy. Now we're pretty good friends and have recently formed a club which I'm not suppose to talk about.

Echo of Silence had a few meet-ups irl the most recent was our trip to Ohio. It was myself, Dogrock, Cookie, and Moon who got to finally meet one another. None of us have known each other in-real-life before this, and it was a fun weekend! We played video games, saw Amish!, did pullups at the fire-station, drank, and honestly enjoyed each others company.

I know we will be trying to meet up again eventually even planning some minor trips to each others summer homes/cottages/cabins!

Eos had about 3 to 4 other meet-ups already, and we are planning a Nyc one since our community seems to be getting a bit bigger in that area! (MULTIPLIED BY 2!!) Lol

*Side-Notes: None of us felt awkward or anything like that, we expected each other to be more-so how we are on the internet, and well I can speak for myself my expectations were meet (tbh Cookie, Moon, and Dog are a lot cooler in person than over the web!!)* Regardless it was a fun experience, but I guess the difference is Eos tends to be a tight group of players I knew Dog and Moon for over 2+ years and Cookie for I think a year or more now!*

Oh the questions you asked:

Dog -- 2years+
Moon ---- 2 years +
Redsg --- 2 years +
Cookie --- 1 year +

What was the nature of your relationship? Just friends or... more?

Dog --- More than friends we shared a hotel room, but then again we share the role of the longest Sk relationship ftw!

Moon ---- Omg he took advantage of me by making me buy horrible booze!

Redsg --- Sadly his misses wont let me play with him =(

Cookie --- Our relationship is based on her making me delicious food and me eating it all! <69...So I guess you can say we have an understanding!

How many times have you met up thus far?

Meet them all once time so far, but Dog and myself have been trying to meet up for ages before that our schedules never line up =(. We are planning to hopefully meet up again eventually.

How did the initial meetup affect your relationship?

Umm honestly didnt affect us at all we all still love each other and mess around I guess....well when I do see Moon online I do think why I didnt hug him longer....and how jealous I am of him sleeping in a comfy chair....why didnt I just switch spot with him on the bed..... OMG so much failure on missed opportunities!!

I haven't met with anybody that I first met on Spiral Knights yet. Though I will be coming summer 2014.
