Yes, yes. I know shadowsun slicker is one of them. But what about nameless poncho? Its freeze resist covers the negative part of the mask, and we all hate freeze more than poison. Has anyone considered nameless? I would prefer ASI also when it would come to alchemers. Dmg bonus would be for non-alchemer guns I guess

Most people would probably say "Chaos."
I prefer Mercurial Demo Suit because of its color scheme, gremlin-like stats, and useful bomb bonuses (considering the Dark Retribution you get with Seerus stuff).

Gray Feather has similar stats (but no bonuses), for what it's worth (which isn't much).
Shadowsun Slicker offers a valuable gun-damage bonus.
Nameless Poncho augments the mask's ASI bonus.

If you're more concerned with useful bonuses (instead of stats), Chaos would be your best bet, as it augments the Mask's main strength, the gun CTR.

I suggest Chaos.

Yes, I know what you're thinking, "Oh great, another Chaos fanatic!" Hear me out. The two most damaging and dangerous statuses to a player (outside of curse, which I'll talk about later) are shock and fire. They're also incredibly common, just not in the clockworks today because of OOO's questionable logic involving minerals and elevators.The Seerus mask's fire and shock resistance outweight Chaos' fire and shock penalty. The rest of the statuses are fairly negligible. Freeze defense is almost entirely useless since you're likely to be hit again in which you can shield and be broken free, or if it's a Silversap, then you're screwed no matter what. Poison isn't all that threatening if you know what you're doing. Curse is so uncommon that curse defense is laughable outside of a few select places.

Chaos would give an additional CTR medium on top of that Seerus mask, giving you max CTR with guns, provided they're fully heated, medium damage with guns, and ASI low with guns. It would provide a CTR and damage medium to everything else, which is awfully nice. Coupled with the Swiftstrike Buckler that most gunners use, and you're sitting pretty for just about any playstyle involving guns.

i do have chaos cloak, I use it frequently, but the statuses are annoying, though ever since Ive started using alchemers (yesterday) Ive been great with dodging, but is making the slicker necessary? I literally have no shadow armor and would think this would be perfect, especially since the slicker looks badass with the seerus mask.

Shadow Sun Set is just awesome if you plan to do any hardcore gunslinging.

IMO, the sane way to use Mask

IMO, the sane way to use Mask of Seerus is to get it any time you have more 5-star orbs than 4-star items to upgrade, so it doesn't slow down your acquisition of more weapons, and put it on when you face Fire and Shock levels. Similarly, get the Kat hat when the promo rolls around, and put it on when you face Freeze levels. They both gain nice offensive bonuses in exchange for negative status effect resistance, so wear them when and where the benefit is relevant but the cost is not, and wear something else when and where the cost would be painful.

Offensive bonuses are nice, which is why Chaos is a must-get for almost every one, but IMO that comes after a strong variety of weapons, and for one's first set of armor, being able to complete all missions at least once, the most important thing is probably to protect against the big 3 status effects. Yes, Chaos' offensive buff is a huge deal, but having the perfect weapons for a level rather than merely okay ones is an even bigger deal, and for most people contributes more to fun gameplay variety anyway. As such, until you reach a point where things start feeling easy and/or you have a weapon for every situation, Grey Feather and Divine are solid options. As a bonus, all but the 5-star recipes are re-used when getting Chaos, so you're saving a little bit on recipes that way. For hybridising, Magic should work well with Gunslinger since the latter is Pierce through 4-star and then becomes whatever you choose to craft for at 5-star; I can see both Shadowsun/Grey Feather and Divine/Justifier making lots of sense both at 5-star and on the way there, so much so that I suspect we're supposed to read something into how the ponchos and cloaks look similar.

Derp. For ShadowTrojan in particular: I'd go for Shadowsun if I were in that situation, yes. The only always-available gun-boosting armor options are Chaos and the Gunslinger family, so the choice is kinda already made by whether you have the Kat hat or the means to acquire it.

what weapons?

We can't advise you on which armor is best, unless we know which weapons you use. So far it seems that you use alchemers. What other guns? Do you also use swords and bombs?

If you are like me who always brings a Nova/Blitz and an ASI VH Combuster, Vog Coat. Also could be an entry for Mawashimono's Fasion Thread with a few accessories and an aura.

Visually, Volcanic plate mail

Visually, Volcanic plate mail looks great with seerus, especially with some valk wings. I also like demo mail with seerus.

Radiant silvermail is a rare armour that doesn't get a lot of use, but it could pair nicely with seerus if you wanted to cover all 4 armour types.

Chaos is really the best match in terms of getting maxed out damage. If you dont have asi or ctr UVs on your guns then I would personally just stick with chaos.

Also if you haven't gotten 2x elite trueshot mods yet then get those before anything else. No point not having max damage. That and sprite perks means you can use whatever armour piece you want really without worrying about losing any damage on your guns, just match it with the floor status/monster theme you're running at the time.

I dont use trinkets because

1. I have to buy slots which would expire every month

2. I need to get krogmo coins for mod calibrators/enamorocks and I suck in LD (another reason Im starting to be gunner)

3. ROTTING METROPOLIS, Y U NO GIVE MORE ETERNALS

I would make trinkets, but i need to get my shadowtech mkII and prisma to 5 star.

question and answer

So here's how you could ask your question...

I use alchemers, Supernova, Argent Peacemaker, Blitz Needle, and Biohazard. I want a suit to pair with Perfect Mask of Seerus. I also use Swiftstrike Buckler (?).

And the answer could be...

Here are some combinations, and the total abilities arising therefrom:

* Chaos Cloak (CTR+6, ASI+4, damage+2)
* Shadowsun Slicker (CTR+4, ASI+4, damage+2)
* Nameless Poncho or Justifier Jacket (CTR+4, ASI+6, damage+0)

Keep in mind that you also get something+2 from your sprite perk, once your sprite is complete. Now, all of your guns benefit from damage bonus, although not all of the time (if it doesn't reduce the number of hits needed to kill). Some of your guns benefit a lot from ASI, and others from CTR:

* ASI: alchemers, Supernova, Argent
* CTR: alchemers, Blitz Needle, Biohazard

Use this information to decide what balance of CTR, ASI, damage bonus, and defense you want. Cheers.

Trinkets aren't that bad of a price...

Don't think of it as 150 CE a month, rather 5 CE a day, or about 400 crowns a day.
