EDIT: Apparently people misunderstood the point of this thread, and the GMs graveyarded it. The point of this thread is to come up with silly cheat codes which really have no effect. That's what I meant when I said "Not real cheat codes, mind you..." I'm clarifying this as I move it back. This is another silly, fun thread relating to retro stuff.

If there is some misunderstanding, could the GM who moves the thread let me know or post here? Thanks!

Not real cheat codes, mind you...

A = Attack
B = Defend
(As far as I know, none of the other commands are used.

Once you reach the first statue found in the Training Camp missions, pick it up and press Left, Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Up, Up, Up. You should hear the sound of a gold crown being collected if you did it right. Return to the main menu. Log in, and as you chose your knight (any knight of yours.), you will be brought to the level select screen. You will be using whatever gear your knight is wearing at the time, and you may even chose levels which have been removed from normal game play.

Anyway...

If your knight is in the left-most slot during the Knight Select Screen, highlight (but don't select) your knight, and then press up twice and down nine times. If your knight is in the right-most slot, highlight that knight and press down twice and up nine times. THERE IS NO VARIATION OF THIS CODE THAT WE KNOW OF FOR CHARACTERS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SELECTION SCREEN!

If you do it right, after defeating a Toxilargo in the Arcade, it will drop a mushroom-like costume hat. It vanishes 24 hours after picking it up, and it is bound to you as well. Oddly enough, if you take it off 3 seconds before it vanishes, you will be left with a costume item called "BAD DATA 3" which cannot be sold, traded, or equipped.

It would be nice to unlock a knight model preview mode where you can equip all of the available armors/accessories/costumes in preview mode and save them so you can plan out your costumes in the future. (As a cheat code to enter during knight selection screen)

Instead of relying on other ways to do this instead.

Fireball Powerup

In Tier 2 and higher Devilish Drudgery stages, you can find a Fireball powerup in rooms with mailboxes, if you destroy the mailboxes with a Beast Basher. This is a relic from early in development where stronger powerups were meant to be in the game, and still hasn't been patched. The Fireball powerup goes in a Vial slot and has unlimited uses until you leave the Clockworks. It also has graphics reminiscent of the old Vials and Capsules. Throwing a Fireball causes the same damage as an Ash of Agni's center explosion would with +Med Damage. It is also affected by Bomb Damage bonuses, and ASI affects it as well.

The Rotting Metropolis: Secret Ending

In mission 8-2(5) "The Rotting Metropolis", at the last stage (based on Concrete Jungle's "Briar Bone Barrage"), you normally find some dead Knights. However, there is an alternate ending where you save these knights.

If you hit the first party button immediately, your chance of the secret ending is shot. Instead, walk up the stairs to the side and you should see a building. Shoot fire-based projectiles such as Vials and Firotech Alchemer shots into the easternmost window, and eventually you should see an explosion. Hit the party button and proceed through the stage. Because of the explosion, the first battle room will have no enemies in it; the explosion killed them all. This allows you to make it to the are with the Knights in time to save them.

Make it to the small hallway where the Knights are in a minimum of five minutes, and the knights should be barely alive, fighting two Toxigels and the Toxilargo; if you show up in time, they'll run away and let you fight them. Defeat them, and the Knights will thank you and, after you clear the final battle room in the level, show you a secret area with ten red Treasure Blocks.

1- On the "Rotting

1- On the "Rotting metropolis" mission,put all the grim statues on the elevator on all the stages. Once you've done it all,you'll get 3 elite and eternal orbs of alchemy.

How to get health to regenerate infinitly.

Get a load of this Valestone (the fourth Chaos Emerald) then find the computer room stashed with Tails Dolls, snooping as usual as I see to be tossed around by Silver the Hedgehog, screaming "It's no use! Take this!" as your health regenerates forever (and don't think about using Chaos Control). Long time no see, infinite health, Sonic sez because we're Sonic Heroes we gotta go fast.

Cheats to SL solos!

Alright, it took me a little bit, but...

Snarby :

Upon entering the boss room of Snarby, you'll find that the Snarbolax is waiting for you there. If you hit it with a Super Stun Gun charge attack while using a Maskeraith's quill attack (it has to have no upgrades at all, and your Sprite must not be levelled at all), the Snarbolax will temporarily be stunned. While that happens, if you start the fight, the Snarby you'll be facing is a Rabid Snarby. No Swarm Seed, no second Snarby.

Upon defeating it, instead of getting Frumious Fangs, you will get exactly one Nightmare Mane, regardless of how many depths you travelled prior to this.

JK :

This one is one of the hardest ones to do IMO. The trick is to initiate the fight like usually, but you must kill everything ONLY with poison status. You may only damage the Jelly King by direct attacking up to 100 points of damage, otherwise you'll break the line of code programmed into the JK. Once accomplished, the Jelly King will explode and die. RUN TO THE ELEVATOR, SKIP EVERYTHING. If you collect a single drop, you will fail the sequence.

If you can get there fast enough, the elevator will take you to IQ next. The Swarm Seed will be there, but only the IQ will be the other enemy. You can deal as much direct damage as you want, and the drops apply normally, like most SLs.

Rocket Twins :

When you're fighting the Rocket Twins, you can fight like usual until both are using lasers at the same time. Drop an Ash of Agni on the party button, while also calling an artillery shot. You have to time it JUST right, but once you hit the switch the same time the mortar drops down and the lasers hit the same point, a hole will blow open. Run into it, and you will be taken to the SL variant of the Rocket Twins. They're almost dead already (in SK timeline, these ones have only been recently built), and there's no swarm seed. However, be careful of Seerus chasing you with his Rocket Hammer, as it deals double damage to the one in OCH. If you kill the twins fast enough, Seerus will flee and you can get one Schemer Scrap, regardless of depths travelled.

Vanaduke :

When you initiate the fight, type in : "The wolves are your children. Your children thirst not for the blood of Almire, but of its enemies." Hit him with water until he gets to the first mask phase, and shield bash him with the Crest of Almire. The mask will return to Vana, and he will open up another dialogue.

He'll ask if you want to help restore Almire, and if you say yes, the gates will open and you can go onto the next floor. Take nothing, otherwise he'll view you as a marauder. If that happens, he'll attack as usual, and the sequence will be broken. Once at the next floor, he and you will look out at the Core, until a giant Swarm Seed comes flying into him. He stumbles back, and you will be ordered to run to the Elevator leading to the Core. However, it will go a floor up, bringing you into the boss room of the UFSC. You can fight him as usual, and the rewards will be converted into Maiden's Tears depending on how long you stayed at the Core TErminal.

Defeat Darkfire Vanaduke in less than 1 minute and a large red treasure box will crush his corpse. Opening it gives you 4,136,120 crowns and 10,2500 energy.

On the Mount Krampus mission, chipping out the mountain will cause the mountain to slide and fall onto the Core, thus opening it. You also get all the goodies from the mission, even the ones you have to skip to move further.

Super fake cheat code and impossible

You do Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right Z X but it won't work straight away. It will work after you solo every mission in the game on elite (Event don't count but OCH does.) You can't die either at all otherwise it won't work. After you have done both, you get into a level creator where you can place any bosses, mini-bosses and enemies. You can also set the HP of them. So if you want, you can have 5 Vanadukes each with 1,200,000 HP and they can be crammed into a small room or a giant room. Also, once unlocked, it is permanently unlocked and it shows on 1 of the 3 character slots (If you have 3 already, your right one vanishes.)

I got bored, super bored!

Dance Dance Spiralution.

Step 1: Enter any compound.
Step 2: Before entering the last room, open up your menu.
Step 3: Type the following:

RUNN1NG 1N TH3 90S.

When you back out into the game, walk through into the room.

If done correctly, only some Shock Devilites should appear, regardless of the level theme.
The light levels will then start to dim, and multi-coloured spotlights will be shown moving slowly on the floor.
The game will then start playing Rave Music, to which the Devilites will dance to indefinately.

You can kill them, but they wont drop anything. Just spin your mouse around and boogie on.
You can end it by getting to the next level, logging out, or returning to Haven.

No, they're all false.

Anyhow...

A little snipe told me that you can create Impostocubes in Scarlet Fortress: Cravat Hall. All you gotta do is go over to the one room with 3 boxes and 3 jellies. When you trigger the jellies, DO NOT KILL THEM. Lead them to the elevator with you. Then, once you're there, you have to push them all onto the elevator. (Yes, these ones can go on the elevator.) After that, open up the chat and quickly type "/debug ID001,ID002,ID003: IS_NICK". You must do this VERY VERY quickly before they move off the elevator.

Even if you did it right, you will still get an "Unexpected error from the server." You're not done yet! You have to now step onto the lift before the 3 Jelly Cubes get off of it. You will need to spend 10 energy to go down, like in the old days. (Since this has been 'around' for a long time!) If you did it all correctly, the loading screen should be blank. The next level will have NO background. All Jelly Cubes which spawn in the next level will be Impostocubes, and for each Cube which would normally spawn, two will spawn instead.

In mission Spark and Roar, solo and on elite, on the first floor, leave at least 7 scrabs alive. Killing all the scrabs will disallow you to get to the secret boss fight. Instead, lead the 7 scrabs to the elevator. More is better, but unneeded to get to the fight. It is important that the scrabs are unharmed, even a little will disallow you to do the boss fight. In order to get the scrabs across the barrier, type /nobarrierscrab, then /nobarrierscrabplz, and then /nobarrierscrabplzorudie, afterwards the scrabs will be able to go through

On the second floor, you should find the scrabs you lead to the elevator. Lead them to the next elevator without letting them get damaged at all. You also need to bring a key

On the third floor, the scrabs and key will appear. In order to get the scrabs past the turret, use a shock weapon to make the turret malfunction. It only works on turrets in that floor. Go on ahead. Do not kill the gun puppy ahead, instead use the key on it. In the chat, say "Activate teleport for Scrab," apon doing this, the scrabs will disappear, as they were teleported. Normally, this doesn't happen, but the fact that you used the key on the gun puppy gave you premission. Afterwards, complete the arenas within 10 minutes and go to the treasure room and you should see Herex being attacked by the scrabs. DO NOT GO NEAR HEREX, instead, do /laugh three times to start a boss fight. It is important you do not die, as if you do, Herex will flee and you will be unable to finish the boss fight. If you finish it, Herex will still flee but drop his Aura, a random SL mat, and a poison razor launcher. The poison razor launcher launcher razors that do the damage of a Archeon in a single hit.

In any T3 Candlestick type this in exactly as you see it:
"Where's that DAMN fourth Chaos Emerald?"
If you type it in you will turn into Super Shadow.
Your shield command will be replaced with Chaos Control and your shield bash command will be replaced with Chaos Blast.
Chaos Control: Makes all enemies on screen move and act 95% slower for 15 seconds. Your gun will not overheat.
Chaos Blast: Damages all enemies on screen equal to the amount of your Max health. (1 Health Pip=40 Health Points)

In the boss room of the Shadow Lair: Royal Jelly Palace, type in /srj in the chat and enter it (after you pressed the party button, and while the Ice Queen is alive).

A normal Royal Jelly should spawn. Killing it will give all the normal drops (including tokens), and clear the battle of all enemies (including the Swarm Source). The gate remains closed until the Ice Queen falls. Nothing respawns, though the Ice Queen itself can still create more enemies.

You can do this infinite times until the Ice Queen dies.

EDIT: You should also remember that this doesn't work in the normal Royal Jelly Palace, and that the gate always opens when the Ice Queen dies, no matter how many Royal Jellies there are left. Royal Jellies/the Ice Queen stay alive when the Ice Queen or other Royal Jellies die.

If you think a mission is too hard and you're friends are a bunch of useless morons? Well this ChEaT is for you!
On any Rank Mission you have to be by yourself on Easy mode. Without going into the elevator.
Type this exactly as you see it:
"We won't lose to a bunch of losers like you!"
If you do this correctly then you will hear a girl's voice say: "Level up!"
After this enter the elevator.
You will have a rainbow Barrier surrounding you that renders you invincible for 30 seconds, you have a +12 Vitapod, and you will have Attack Up for 60 seconds.
Not only that, you will spawn halfway through the level, saving the hassle of going through the level.
Unfortunately all your armor will turn pink until you finish the mission.
If anyone joins your party then you will gain a -12 Vitapod that you can't swap out with anything else, and you gain Defense Down and Attack Down for 300 seconds.

If you go into the Twin Roarmulous mission, there's a... more of an easter egg, really.
After beating the two giant gun-puppies, Go to the elevator and type " ! ". A cutscene will play where a certain iconic stealthy Snake comes up and snaps your neck, and dissapears via Cardboard Box.
Afterward, a message screen will show up saying "Fission Mailed"- You will be stuck there dead, Regardless of your Auto-Revive or Sparks of life.
...Just kidding; If you do any non-inventory/interface action after Snake has left, you can continue to the elevator room, and claim your sweet, sweet loot.

Blades of the Fallen secret room

You remember that third, "pointless" statue in Blades of the Fallen, right?

If you place it in just the right location here,

the wall will disappear and you can walk in. When you enter, 3 respawning Greavers will appear, and the Trojan statue will come to life as a T3 (stratum 6) Trojan. There will also be 2 more "normal" Trojans from other statues you couldn't see from behind the wall. Killing all the Trojans will cause the Greaver respawners to disappear and 6 red treasure boxes will appear. The other 3 Trojans in the level will spawn in 3 more red treasure boxes around their breakable statues when destroyed.

In Haven, hold Space for 5 seconds, then repedately press W.
Your character will stqrt rising upwards, i.e. jump.
If done correctly, your knight would jump (really) and the knight will land in the fountain.

If used during a mission your character will be falling until you hit a gear.
If you fall past the gear you will log out and never log in again.
