Now, this might be an equipment closeup for the gunner update, but judging from the fact that it's spherical, zoomed in on an Energy symbol, and made of Energy blue covered in Sanctuary white I doubt it. Odds are non-zero it's either the Core or a piece of Core-themed Shadow Lair gear.

That's not water, that's the space background used in the new login screen and equipment previews.

To me, it kinda looks like a blue and green bomb on a blue background. And also taken with a bad phone camera.

Where did you find it? I looked at the title screen and couldn't find it. The real core is inside the Clockworks so...

For those who HAVEN'T seen it, because there seems to be a lot of you, the core is a humungous chunk of dull red metal emitting all sorts of horrid pollution, sitting in a dark area of the clockworks.
That picture is not of the core.

Anyway, all energy symbols are lit up with cyan. That'd be some sort of canister top, not an energy symbol.

Parma was wrong I guess

@hexzyle "Euclid has made the call. We'll enter the core, enter the light." no no no Parma, it's "we'll enter the chunk of dull red metal" sorry, that's instantly what I thought after reading your comment.

Nope, that's definately something underwater, maybe a Skydome? I can't say why it's 100% underwater but trust me, it is (nothing releated to core either).

Perhaps the Winter Grave is a really big and slow gun. But that one looks a little TOO "mechanical," so maybe not.
