Please re-balance the weapons like you promised a year ago. There is no reason to use weapons other then the Alchemer line, Brandish line, Final Flourish, Divine Avenger and Warmaster Rocket Hammer. Anything else is novelty. There seems to be too big of a damage gap on some weapon lines.
Useless weapons:
1. Iron Slug - It's counterpart, the Callahan, is superior. Even so, both weapons are inferior to the Alchemer (Overpowered) or Pulsar line
2. Cautery Sword - Litterally the most underpowered weapon in the game
3. Furious Flamberge/Fearless Rigadoon - No reason to sacrifice 20% damage for a slight chance of a status effect that will never probably tick before enemy is dead. The damage gap between the Final Flourish should be lessened.
4. Wild Hunting Blade/Dread Venom Striker - Charge damage on the Cutter line is weaker then the combo and makes player vulnerable
5. Plague Needle - This gun is garbage, even more so with the addition of Maskeraith. Posion doesn't make up for the damage lost and since needles don't penetrate monsters it's difficult to inflict a group of enemies.
There also exists a plethora of dead end gear lines that nobody will or ever should use. Given the difficulty changes, additions of missions and how easy it is to reach 4* why the heck should anyone upgrade 0* or 1* piece of equipment if it has a dead end at 2* or 3*? I wonder how many players who didn't know any better were tricked into wasting their time and crowns. There are some very cool looking weapons and concepts. Use them and -- There should be a 5* Spur line!
There was a handgun rebalance announced just yesterday.
At this rate, I expect we'll see the same happen to swords in 2017.
