For now, this is just a concept. Desna's recon ranger have discovered an abandoned gremlin laboratory. One where gremlin scientists were experimenting with anti-gravity generators as a possible gremlin weapon. In order to prevent the scientists from encountering issues when testing the technology, gremlin engineers built mech-suits with shield generators, thrusters, oxygen tanks, and a personal gravity module.

Mech Suits: Quite literally just like playing as a normal knight, only bigger, moves the legs slower but walks at the same speed. When you press the shield button, shields just fly out of your arse. You have three weapons: a normal damage sword, arm cannon, and bomb dispenser. The "Thrusters" work like shield bashing, only with a cooler animation.

Meh

Having an armor set with built in weapons would be OP/UP, and I don't OOO would want to program something like this just for use in a particular mission (and Spiral Knights isn't much of vehicle based game anyway). However, I'd love to see some powered-armoresqe designs be released (hopefully some will be available in the gunner update).

Lockdown already modifies your playstyle. This would be like that sort of thing, only overwriting your weapons and armor when you're in it as well.

If it was in a danger mission, regular mission, and expansion mission, that would be plenty of usage.
