WAIT!! You might be able to

WAIT!!

You might be able to get a better deal buying the cutter from the auction house. Check the prices there first. (It costs 50 energy to craft one, so you're looking for one that costs less than half the current energy prices.)

As for buying energy, lately the prices have been hovering between 4700 crowns to 5000 crowns. If you see it on the low side, go for it. If not, you can hold off and see if it goes down.

Hmmm i got all materials only

Hmmm i got all materials only not the energy.. it cost around 2k so i might have 400 profit from it. But then again how do i know its a good buy or not? :S its only bidding not insta buy and im afraid my materials go to waste.
The price is now 4850 for energy i think thats too much, maybe ill just wait.
Thanks for your advice :P

The materials won't be

The materials won't be wasted. You'll need them to upgrade your Cutter to the Striker. (And THAT will require the recipe.)

umm

no it won't

cutter 2*--->Striker3*----->Vile Striker4*------>Dread venom striker5*
------->Hunting Blade4*-->Wild hunting blade5*

because it doesn't need heat to upgrade you can buy them off of someone or the auction house

Even if he does get a good

Even if he does get a good price on a Striker, he'll need the recipe (and more of those same materials!) to upgrade it to the Vile Striker (or maybe the Hunting Blade... but hopefully not. Poison rocks.) There's a limited number of non-bound Vile Strikers after the patch.

I thought about getting wild

I thought about getting wild hunting blade because it says it will leave a image after the second cut xD seems cool to me :P But is the vile striker much better?

yes,

with the inclusion of the flourish line for dealing damage to beasts and fiends the hunting blade series lost it's only real edge over the vile striker line. The poison is great for both parties and jk runs.

Flourish isn't always better.

LcBelgarath isn't quite right. The flourish lines (Flourish, Flamberge, and Rigadoon) are better than the Hunting blade line against beasts, but they are far worse against slimes and constructs that are strong against piercing damage. So if you only carry one sword, you will probably prefer the hunting blade to the flourishes. If you carry multiple swords, get a flourish and choose something else for constructs and slimes.

Nice luck, Sky! I've never

Nice luck, Sky! I've never even seen an equipment drop from a box. They are incredibly rare.

Unless you pay 150 energy each to buy up to two extra weapon slots that lasts 30 days, you have only two weapon slots. Almost all two-slot players carry at least one sword, and people commonly carry a firearm as a secondary weapon.

People who carry a bomb instead are less common, probably account for about 25-35% of the player base, and they normally carry it instead of a gun; a few players carry a selection of swords and no other weapons, though they normally have a sword with a ranged attack on it.

Some players carry all bombs or all guns, but they're generally agreed to be nutters.
