Between Final Flourish and Barborous Thorn Blade?

Besides looks, that is. I honestly don't see any reason getting the Barb if you have the Flourish and vice versa.

All of the piercing swords are compared in detail in the relevant section of my sword guide:

They're the same except Flourish' charge sucks less.

@Zeddy

Uhh...no. FF/FR charges output damage to a single enemy and put you in danger, while BTBs' are projectile-like and don't kill you, also spreads to multiple enemies.

I hardly see anyone using either charges effectively.

Flourish has more accesible recipes and ragecrafting.
BTB 'looks cool'.

It's the backstep on the BTB charge that gets me. The FF charge can still cleave through large hordes quite easily.

The main difference for me is how you get the recipes. Flourish recipes are easily accessible in the hall of heroes. The Snarble Barb recipes are like the holy grail for recipe merchants. They're the recipe that can get you the best and most reliable profit on resale. So compared to the Flourish, the recipes are harder to acquire or more expensive to acquire.

I cleave through crowds with Flamberge dealing more damage than Suda, but okay if you say so.

I actually prefer the Thorn Blade for single targets, since I can use it as a mini-blitz at point blank for trojans. The damage just gets too thinned out when I try it on crowds.
