Playing any game from Australia is like playing a game as someone with the slowest reflexes in the world, since you're adding 200-250ms latency to your reflexes (the average human being has 225ms).

In PvE this is negated somewhat as AI in this game tend to be easily predicted (i understand this will be rectified and AI will be much more crafty).
Australians have a lower skill ceiling because 450ms reaction time isn't good at all, and if they can compensate by learning to predict the future, what's stopping someone from the US with 50ms latency from doing the same and negating that advantage?
No matter how you look at it, 275ms reaction time is much better than 450ms made even worse since everything is server side.
Let's not forget that half the time pet abilities completely refuse to activate when your ping is too high. (Play EU server from Australia and you will see).

Getting high damage doesn't mean you're good at LD, you could be just comboing and nothing skillful is actually happening. And no, high latency makes the game unplayable, upsetting and depressing some times.
Complaining won't do us good, yeah. It may cause SEGA to actually think about making more servers for this poor game.
