I read the wiki and it said you need rank 8 hall of heroes. When I get to rank 8-2 hall of heroes it says I need to be equipped with all 5 star. Help with understanding please. Thank you

Hall of Heroes exists to solve this problem for you
In the Hall of Heroes, you can buy 5-star recipes, right? So buy them, return to Haven, craft and equip the 5-star items, return to the Hall of Heroes, and complete the mission. I think that's how it's "supposed" to work.

The wiki is fine. You should equip 5* gear when you unlock the rank 8 hall heroes.

I thought that was the idea- you have access to the Hall of Heroes that sells 5* gear, and can buy/craft as necessary, and once you are equipped you can proceed to complete the mission.

Just logged on to check. I never knew you only needed 8-1 complete to equip 5 star. Now all I need to is craft them. Thanks for clarification. Graveyarding this.
You only need rank 8-1 to equip 5* gear, not 8-2.
