T2 LD is dying? I've been noticing over the last few weeks that there are less and less T2 games.
Does anyone else feel like...
I've only found some Tier 2 games during the weekends. Weekdays seem to be totally dead.
My guess is lots of people enjoying the free gates and trying to get to t3 asap.
Brick Squad !! Is a T2 LD gulid and now adapting to T3 just for the sake of survival !! Join Brick Squad (in your dreams) and T2 LD will never die !!
Only prerequisites to joining is that you have to be rude and pretentious to every other guild ever even if they're nice people!
And then also try to get all the other tier 2 guilds to merge with you every few weeks.
/sad, T2 LD is more fun :(
Never! T2 will never die! It's been more active these past few days. There were actually some EU games going yesterday. The T2 community might be small, but we're dedicated :D. Obviously there will be less games now because school started again.
Don't bash Brick Squad most of them are cool people :P. The only problem is that there are very few dedicated T2 LD guilds who play a lot, so GvG's aren't easy to come by. (R.I.P Rietz )
Why i take so long in t2LD can any 1tell me plz
@Whimsicality
Heh. You forgot that you have to have a hammer :o
T2 LD: Precisely the same thing as T3 LD, minus Chaos and plus crappier bombs.
Welcome to T2 Lockdown. Where despite being able to see your knight, you've got even more of a Metagame because of the limited amount of damage types for each weapon.
@Klipik-Forum
Mhm, Tier 2 Lockdown is indeed dead by the looks of it. There are many less players and matches there nowadays. I personally believe that it's because of the battle sprites update as it happened right after the update. You see, Tier 2 Lockdown really did depend on 2*-3* PvE players that had used up all of their Mist Energy and still wanted to play Spiral Knights. They would all go to PvP after that point and that's pretty much what it lived off of. Not to mention a decent chunk of the Tier 2 Lockdown players quit due to not being satisfied with the update.

"Only prerequisites to joining is that you have to be rude and pretentious to every other guild ever even if they're nice people!"
Yes... It does feel that way sometimes. ._. *cough* Forest-Dragon *cough*
@Alphappy
Tier 2 Lockdown is not like Tier 3 Lockdown at all... I can see why you believe that though. Both Tiers have many similarities but we're definitely not the same. In Tier 2 Lockdown people don't complain about Auto Target, in Tier 2 Lockdown people don't lag nearly as much as they would in Tier 3 Lockdown, in Tier 2 Lockdown there's not nearly as many Pulsar users as there is in Tier 3 Lockdown, and in Tier 2 Lockdown the gear is much cheaper than it would be in Tier 3 Lockdown.
>In Tier 2 Lockdown people don't complain about Auto Target,
...
>in Tier 2 Lockdown people don't lag nearly as much as they would in Tier 3 Lockdown,
...
>in Tier 2 Lockdown there's not nearly as many Pulsar users as there is in Tier 3 Lockdown,
This is true and it's always puzzled me, considering that all it takes to get a Pulsar is fifteen tokens and three orbs. Doesn't even need heat, because 2*->3* has no level prerequisite and its CTR is useless.
I will admit there are some other differences. No one plays bomber because bombs have no radius, and no one plays gunner because there's no point in basing a gunning loadout around Antigua.
Antigua is great for chip damage and hit stunning them out of a combo. But yeah... without a huge damage modifier in tier 2 it's pretty rough to use. A blaster outshines it in basically all aspects.
@Alphappy
Eh, I may have worded some of those wrong but you still should have gotten the point. I believe that really anyone can notice that people in Tier 2 Lockdown don't complain about Auto Target nearly as much as they would in Tier 3 Lockdown. As for the lag... Me for instance. I lag there usually due to the upgraded weapons. Alchemers are able to ricochet up to 3 times there. I'm sure I mentioned all the Pulsar users as well. 5-Star Pulsars are just giant lag machines with the big spirals jumping out after the impact of a pulse. Brandish charges as well. :c I can go on ya know...
And you don't die in two hits in t2 LD
A lot of the people I know refuse to play lockdown in general as it has pay to players who have nothing better to do than cry noob and throw money to legally get shock max and max asi in a skolver load out. Nothing of value was lost as most people no longer play it outside a circle of core people now. OOO isn't getting much more money from uv craft spamming there anyhow, so don't be surprised if they strip UVs from LD as well.
a few things:
@ATlanx: people DO die in 2 hits of sealed sword (like 2* cobalt guys) but yeah,there are almost no shadow weps in tier 2 like GF
in total it is MOSTLY all piercing,because the main weps are toothpics, and the main armor is wolves line.
that is why hammer is so unfair <.<
topic: tier 2 IS dying out on weekdays,i almost never see any games there -.-
there is a lot on weekends though
i like tier 2 more than T3 because not every1 has stupid ASI UVS and trinks,it is mostly skill :)
Either you suck at dodging or your loadout sucks .In t3 even if you have trinkets you still get killed in two hits.

Oh, that "lag." I thought you were referring to communication latency and instability. Yea, Java's a piece of garbage so there's no way around that.
The funniest part of Tier 2 is that you can have ASI on everything and still get your rear handed to you, because guess what? Your ASI VH Sealed Sword doesn't burst someone down in two hits.
It's very much possible for one person with ASI to get overwhelmed by 4 well-coordinated people without ASI.

What do you mean no one bombs in T2? I bomb in T2 and it's more effective than you'd think! No one has immunity and guns are too weak to force you away. Hammer + Toothpick also allows you to hold your own in a 1v1 fight. Also no ones knows how to deal with bombs in T2. I can shard bomb and do relatively well (I'm still useless though). Blast bombs are amazing to just lay down in the middle of a team fight. You'd be surprised how many people ignore the big red circle.
The reason you don't see too many pulsars down in T2 is because once someone brings out a pulsar EVERYONE ELSE brings out their own pulsar. It's a sportsmanship thing. xD
@Whimsicality
*Cough Cough* Spearnaught's ASI VH hammer: takes entire team to bring down and everyone still dies.
The main reason that hammer is OP or cheap is that it completely dominates guardians. The dash flinches your shield and 2-hit's it. The only way to counter a hammer is to use your own hammer (for guardians). However, if they have ASI on their hammer and you don't...... you're done for. Hammer vs Strikers is way easier though. Use a fast hitting weapon and keep moving around the hammer user. Hammer IS a slow sword after all.
How is it that every thread in this subforum becomes a balance discussion?
P.S, @Offense: Who was the other team? :P
@Offense-Armor>What do you mean no one bombs in T2?
I mean that, at least when I watched and played, nearly no one bombed in t2. One bomber every other match at best because they all got chargelocked and smashed by AApicks and AAntigua.
@Kliplik-Forum>How is it that every thread in this subforum becomes a balance discussion?
For the same reason that people in real life talk about the weather - it's a big thing that unconditionally affects us all.
T3 has been pretty quiet in the Asian timezone as well.
