Mac SteamClient Start issues

I haven't played in some time, and today i felt like rejoining for a bit. Now, as it were, I went to install the client from steam, and when i launched it, it crashed immediately. Now here is what i have already done;
1) I've already uninstalled the client and reinstalled, multiple times
2) I've already verified the cache and repaired it, multiple times

I have read that there may be a problem with the fact that my computer is running Java 7, but that was a problem already a year ago, and I would expect it would have been fixed by now. I'd prefer not to have to flash back to an older version of java, as I am writing for Java 7 and Android, and thus my IDE's require Java 7.

Does the window actually open

Does the window actually open then crash or is it crashing on the dock? I am currently having an issue where steam will not open spiral knights, it opens on the dock and disappears then shows up again on the dock then wont open my game after i download/verify updates

Sort of in-between. It opens on the dock, then the window sort of opens, white, for like a quarter of a second, and then it crashes again. If you guys give me a bit, i'll check my syslogs and see if there are any crashes caught there, and i'll post it here.

Strong feeling that this line is the culprit:

Greetings,

Spiral Knights is currently incompatible with Java 7 on OS X. You will need to install Java 6 if you wish to play. You can re-install Java 6 by using this download provided by Apple.

As I said, I develop for java 7, and therefore cannot afford to flash back to Java 6. Do you have a general timeframe for Java 7 compatibility?

Luckily you can juggle which version of Java to run via Java Preferences.

Unless you are developing in Java and running Spiral Knights at the same time...

HELP!

How the heck do you get the juggling to work?
in the java control panel the one thing is not showing up that allows me to put java 6 before java 7.
I have tried to download java 6.
It didn't work

Help me out Momofuku!

Ik that feel Ethzshadowz, tried to install multiple java6 for my mac JUST to be able to enjoy this game, but no luck with this appearing in my files or having an effect on my Spiral Knights ( still crashes ).
