Exactly what I'm experiencing at the moment... Please provide help, specs:

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU P6000 @ 1.87 GHz(2 CPUS) ~1.9 GHz
Memory: 2048MB RAM

If I do need to install new drivers, please say so, I'm still not sure about this page's advice.

Details:

I had finished updating the client, then I waited for the window to pop in. When it did, it automatically closed after a split second/full second has passed.

EDIT: I meant update* instead of install.

Greetings,

With older Intel devices you will usually need to follow these steps to update your graphics driver:

  1. Download the most up to date copy from Intel's website. Save it to an easily found location.
  2. Open the Device Manager from the Start menu.
  3. Expand the "Display adapters" list and right-click the listed device. Select Uninstall and make sure the delete driver software box is selected.
  4. Press OK to start the uninstall. NOTE: The screen flickering and resolution changing is a normal part of this process.
  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Launch the installer for the new drivers that were downloaded. Follow the installation wizard's instructions to finish the process.
