For the past few months, I've had the feeling of boredom hit me during FSC, now I only log every day to see my quiet guild with an average of 2-6 people online, then log off 3 secs later. And the forums... Are also getting dull.

I know there's shinings down there waiting to be hoarded, but... I just can't for whatever reason.

I've come up with a few theories why I'm feeling this bored but posting them all at once would derail/confuse you so I'll save that for later.

Lately I've been playing TF2 more than I used to and I resorted to watching random Gmod videos and those vids with "exceptional audio clips" (most of which are extremely hilarious),

I want to, trust me. I really want to play SK. I'm a man of progression (and TF2 is NOT progress towards anything unless you count relaxing/blowing off steam and idling for items), heck I even have a drawing for a guildmate I promised 2 months ago and... Yeah. Also feeling dull on that.

I'm not quitting, I'm just throwing this all out there. I might get back to playing if something happens. But... yeah I just wanna get this feeling out of my gut.

I dunno, I currently feel kinda bored. I'm stuck at this point where I don't really have an objective - I have 5* gear but I'm not up to a challenge like Vana or anything like that, but Tier 2 is easy and nobody seems to play Tier 3. Lockdown is still populated with elitists...

Yeah, I'm kinda bored.

IDK... strike up conversations with people (in or out of the guild/friends list), recruit for your guild? Do more random runs... maybe try getting into BN or LD. Decide on a armor or a accessory or maybe some furniture for your guild that you want so you have a goal and if you already do maybe make a new one to kinda refresh yourself. I can say this... what your feeling is what everyone feels at some point, it's called game turnover. For many, many reasons people stop playing and move on, some people just take breaks, anything would get boring if all your doing is the same thing over and over in a game.

Well I do have a Dread Skelly set to complete, and admittedly that kinda kept me going. Plus i guess I can scrap the idea of going to FSC for crowns to buy elite orbs. The very second I went into FSC with my regular loadout for it without something to heat, I just drop the game instantly. Not to mention I vowed to finished that drawing I promised after crafting my Grey Owlite Shield and... yeah.

I have considered the idea of socializing but I'm not normally one to start it. I mind my own business until someone else starts it.

Your last statement is what got me a rare usable item from the AH with a bid 100K less than its average buy price(200K), and my Maskeraith the elite piercing harness on the same day. But I do actually see what you mean. Not to mention I'm stockpiling on weapon slots and trinket slots for someone when they return. i just renewed all my slots and I need 3 more weapon slots (2 for me next month and 1 more for my friend)

Dude, I reguarly post on a forum for a game that I know absolutely no-one I know IRL plays.
I think that defines bored out of your skull.
You want something purposeful to do? Start running. Start getting in top shape for your soccer team (like me), or your basketball team or whatever.
Don't play sports? Start trying different sports. There's one for everyone. Out of shape? Get in shape.

Why would I edit my post? I'm obviously saying sand.

Posting on a forum on something that isn't popular doesn't count as boredom. SK isn't popular AT ALL yet I love the heck out of it. It's just I wanna look for something to do while I'm in the gap from my Dead Skelly helm (as in i made the armor just like 3 weeks ago and I'm gonna lay off the helm for a while)

I'm only 150ibs and I barely work out at all (sorry :s)

It's seems to indicate a swear word, but unless the GMs have mind-reading powers they won't know what I was actually thinking at that time.

The gunner update perhaps? I've found myself pretty bored as well, with the only reason to come on to play in friends LD (we're all terrible, it's just for mini competitions among ourselves to see who has the most caps and damage...which is about 4k max if anyone was wondering), or to do Prestige. The missions DO get a bit redundant, especially with know exactly what's going to happen next, like wherever the Trojans will pop up. So maybe until the new boss? Who knows. It's up to you.
If you ever see me around, feel free to friend me or chat me; I'm open to talking/entertaining/listening whatever. It's what I'm known for. *Spams Z chat often about buying souls* I mean... what?

Things I've done to keep interested:

Had a recipe buying race with my other (at the time) F2P friend when we found out we had about the same amount. They totally won, obtaining every possible rec while I stalled out at 300.

I felt like the elite top tier lvls were just so stale, so I started picking a weird 1* weapon and going back to tier 1 to heat it up to lvl 10. Had a lot of fun with the different dynamic of monsters not dying and new attack patterns for me.

Later when I got so done with the elite lvls again, I started to log on only to help new players. Hang around haven until someone asked for help understanding something, then just kind of launch into exposition on other stuff I thought might relate to their goal in game, help them out on T1 runs, etc.

I got into sniping common accessories on cheap from the Auction House and learned a lot about the auction economy.

I even set a goal of getting 100 of every kind of token I could, and got into achieving that! I was surprised.

Now we're finally making statues for our Guildhall since the rent got cheaper.

Oh well, OOO is still miles friendlier to its community than what you see in Maple Story...

when im bored with games i eat food and watch my favourite shows while eating
it worked out for a friend of mine and it works out for my cousin, whos more of a programmer than a gamer

and maybe i missed something, but whats that "PvP isn't my thing due to obvious reasons"
altho pvp makes u starve and hold ur toilet urges, its a great way to hav fun, kill time and collect tokens => progress!

when the gunner update comes, make a bombing set and use it in LD. You will see,that bombers will have a HUGE problem
after that : make an OP gunner set to destroy helpless bombers like me
