Generator Overdrives
Generator Overdrives (aka Crappy Name) are Crystal Energy upgrades to your Knight.
They allow you to purchase a time slot during the day (server time) where you can play without Elevator fees.
Fairly simple concept, you buy the timeslot and equip it and it is effective immediately.
If the time period you want it for has passed, it won't activate until the applicable timeslot.
They would typically last four hours each.
You can equip a maximum of two of them (for 8 hours a day).
You can get them in weekend only, 7 day and 30 day versions.
The reasons these would be a good addition to the game is pretty simple:
People who use Mist Energy, I'm pretty sure, would prefer to pay a small amount in Crystal Energy to play for free with their friends at a certain time of day, than wait 21 hours to play again. Converting 'free players' into small 'paying players' to get some added use out of the game.
Also, with the heavy load on Crystal Energy to progress and such now, this would alleviate some stress on players who are trying to get the Energy to craft into Tier 3.
It would also mean that the scenario of logging in to play with a friend but you're both out of Energy would almost disappear, since a cheap price would mean that for a few days you could jump in at the same time and play for what is technically, free.
This would also help with the shift from what was a "Pick up and Play" game to a more organized grouping game, with the changes to rewards based on depth joined. It would mean that less frequent players won't have to organize other things in advance to jump in and play with friends for a few hours to get unscaled rewards.
Obviously, the downside is that risk-free dungeon joining may open more people up to spamjoining groups to farm rare monsters at no cost. But I think that will be fixed by another update anyway.
The reason they are time based rather than all day things is to keep the cost down, basically.
Make it more feasible, I guess.
It also means that you don't have to buy exorbitant amounts of Crystal Energy to enjoy faster progression.
That's the idea.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Nice one!
Wait shoot you're serious about this?
Dang. Just kidding. Alright idea, but it turns the game from casual to hardcore grind-to-win. I would hate it.
