Hi there,
I am running on a MacBook Pro 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7. I recently updated my computer software system to Mavericks OS X. Then, I tried running Spiral Knights through steam, and it closes immediately as it begins to load. I installed JDK 7 Update 45 before I tried running Spiral Knights on Mavericks OS X, so maybe that's the problem? Is there a way to remove JDK 7? Thanks for your help.

I also sent an email to support about this issue.

Spiral Knights won't run on

Spiral Knights won't run on any build of JDK 7 on OSX.

How to uninstall JDK 7 - remove the folder in ~/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/ that says "jdk-1.7.0" or whatnot. That will revert to the built in apple JDK 6.

You can confirm which version of Java you will use by opening the terminal and entering:

$ java -version

And confirming that after you've removed jdk-1.7.0 that it is no longer showing up.

Refer to the Apple Java 10/15/13 link to download the latest Java 6, if necessary. Note that this removes JRE, which you may or may not need for other java applications (outside of SK).

Source: I spent all day yesterday fixing this exact issue myself.

There is no Java folder in my

There is no Java folder in my Library folder. I'm assuming the Library folder is the folder that contains Application Support, as there is no other Library folder that I have. And when I enter that into my terminal, it says:

-bash: $: command not found

Edit:
Nevermind. I just delete the $ sign... But I'm still lost at finding a folder named Java.... When I search for the Java folder, nothing shows up...

Edit 2:
Nevermind Again... I hate it when spotlight can't find your freaking Java folder... I found it.. -_-
