Actually, they changed the patch note thread. A while ago it said that the mission was repeatable, but the tokens we'd get as a reward for finishing the mission were only given once per day.
I'm actually kinda sad/upset now, because I did the whole mission thinking that I'd be able to repeat it... If this event lasts only one week, I kinda want to be able to get enough tokens to craft the sword or the gun ;w;
EDIT: As for the friend thing on what you copy/pasted, I think it means that if you solo the mission, the spirit thingies we can release give only 1 token each, whereas if the party is full we get 4 tokens instead.

I did not read that part. Normally I delete the mail since I read it on the site (figured it was the exact same). Now you got me upset as well, good job.
Getting the tokens is the easy part as the first time through I got around 500 tokens, and we didnt know what to do until we were half way done. The problem I see right now is the use of current 4* weapons to create the new weapons. Most people will not have a lvl 10 4* weapon hanging around (also the fact that one of them is a boss weapon doesn't make it any better) so I dont think we will be seeing many obsidian weapons this time.

Depends on how "end-game" you are. If you're not 5 star yet, or just recently got there, then yeah, it's probably a pain to craft them. But if you've been a Vanguard long enough to have a buttload of Orbs and Crystals stashed up, a couple of days is all you need to level/upgrade the weapons to 4 star level 10...

There is another problem with that though, if you have been a Vanguard long enough you should already have the 5* versions of those items. So why would you go through the trouble of recrafting and reheating it up to a lvl 10 4* again to get a reskin with poison? I already have a vortex and Acheron so the sword and bomb do not interest me. I can see the appeal of the weapons but having them branch off of existing trees was a bad move in my opinion (I might just be angry since I dont have a Blackhawk recipe and I really wanted the gun).

Or just, you know... Play it on alts/with friends that haven't finished it yet.
"*Please note, the Prestige Mission is only playable once per day to receive the mission rewards. You will be able to find additional tokens by joining your friends in the mission lobby."
It seems we can only play the level once per day or you can join your friends in the mission lobby. I am not entirely sure as the wording is quite confusing.
