I recently got myself a new windows 7 pc and installed the brand new java 7 etc.. however when I go to launch Spiral knights on steam a black screen is shown to me and flickers once or twice before throwing me back onto the desktop.

Iv tried reinstalling Spiral knights 5 or so times plus also reinstalling java. Iv noticed for MAC users Java 7 stops people playing Spiral knights but I didnt know if that applied for Windows.

EDIT: I tried an old version of JAVA and the issue was still the same

Greetings,

Flickering and black screens on startup is frequently a graphics driver problem. Even though the computer is brand new, the drivers shipped on it may still be out of date due to the vendor not having validated newer drivers. You help for finding your current graphics device and driver version, as well as links to new driver versions can be found on our Wiki.

I had a look and I didn't seem to have any drivers for my graphics card what so ever!.. so that might of been the issue there ^^;
Ill give that a try and get back to you with the results!
